Michael was very communicative before stay. We were very pleased that the inn was within walking distance or a short drive to Glass Beach! Breakfast is no longer included with stay, despite pictures. The mattress was very comfortable.

Awesome place to stay for the weekend. Accomodations were great (especially the King bed and the adult size hot tub). Breakfast was really good too !

We really enjoyed our stay at the Grey Whale Inn. It's located in an old hospital from the logging days right on the main road through town, one block away from the North Coast Brewery. The sunrise room is bright, spacious, and has a luxurious jacuzzi. Michael was a great host through and through, from accommodating our late arrival to preparing us a nourishing breakfast before we set out on hike. And when we realized we left something in our room after getting back home, he promptly retrieved and shipped it to us. Definitely recommend staying here!

We had a comfortable room on the third floor, the sunset room. Incredible view of the ocean with big windows. The room got hot during the day but cooled down at night. Michael was friendly and very helpful, and the breakfast he served was delicious! Location is good, we could walk to town and the beach.

The inn recently changed hands and is now under new management continuing in the past owners desire to create a friendly and warm experience with the new owners ideals of feeding the needs of the people who are drawn to us. I'm excited to share the combination of these two creative minds while making people happy with down to earth hospitality and old fashioned service. This inn is now my home and I look forward to sharing it with you. I believe it will give you the best taste of the local culture: Art, health consciousness, history and beautiful nature. We now offer historic tours, on site spa service, seminars and Paint Parties. We have special rates for students Living Light students.
