This is a tall building and 35 floors is high! Be patient as the elevators do take some time considering they are currently being serviced to improve them and 1 of 3 will be out of service until upgraded. The Views were awesome, the rooms are just spacious enough for us 4. The food in the lobby was delicious and the staff is friendly and overall we had a great stay.

This place really depends on your expectations. If you are coming from a quiet country home, then this might be too noisy and crowded for your comfort. If the city noise doesn't bother you and you want the convenience of location, then this place is decent enough for a quick trip. It's Honolulu, so it's going to be expensive anywhere. So for the price this place worked just fine. There were some issues that I've addressed the manager about, so hopefully they'll fix it up. It has potential. And the location is great for tourism or for attending a convention at the Hawaii Convention Center.

Two couples stayed at Roger's place for 5 days. Great value for your money - central location, the condo was stocked with basic necessities, and AC saved our lives. The place is two separate condos attached by an entryway - which was great because we traveled with another couple and having privacy when needed was great. My fiance and I were in the bigger room (we got to choose since we arrived first :)). Excellent views throughout. Some downsides - Since a pretty hefty cleaning fee is charged, I'd expect the place to be spotless, which wasn't the case. It wasn't dirty, but it wasn't very clean. Dust on bathroom sink and cabinets, scum in shower, and I can tell that the floors were hastily mopped because a few minutes after walking barefoot, my feet were dirty. Overall, a good stay. It's worth it for the amazing views and central location, but don't expect anything grand.

Our experience was very disappointing. The floors were filthy and sticky. A lot of mold in the bathroom. No coffee pot, washcloths, dishcloths or any thing to wash the dishes with. The couple of cups we took out to use had what looked like dried milk. The decorative pillows were dirty. The pillow cases look like they had not been washed. This was our first time using Airbnb, we weren't really sure what to expect, this absolutely was not it. Over all I could not suggest this condo to any of my friends. Unless it had serious updates.

Response from Roger:
Angie remarks are grossly exaggerated and inaccurate. Anyone who cannot post a picture of themselves on air airbnb profile has to be suspect. Why would have a picture of a dog? The showers had NO mold on the walls or tub. The the linens were brand new, she was the first one to use. The decorative pillows are fine, she just did not like them. Her issue, not mine. All glasses and cups were clean, no evidence of dried milk. Entire floor was vacuumed and swept with a swifter. She has exaggerate most everything, she is NOT welcome back and I would use caution in accepting any reservation from her, she like to complain. She never once called us while here to have us address the issues. Because they were not true, and she made most of it up. A similar 2 bedroom in Waikiki will cost of $400, she paid $160 and is complaining? Be careful.

The condition of the condo was extremely disappointing. You'll pay a $225 cleaning fee but it is clearly not used for cleaning. Upon check-in, the floor was covered in sand, the bathroom was caked in soap scum, the shower curtain had mildew spots, the ventilation fan had ½ an inch of dust, and the trash cans contained but no bag - to name a just a few issues. When I got in touch with the host about these things, he told me that he didn't believe me before begrudgingly agreeing to send a cleaner. Even once the cleaner came, they only corrected the items I listed rather than taking their time to truly clean the condo. Not everything was able to be fixed by a cleaner though, including the crumbling ceiling, the walls and doors which are stained with dirt, and old windows which don't seal when closed. In a reply to another review, Roger stated that the unit has recently undergone renovations totaling thousands of dollars - you'll be hard pressed to see said renovations. As an Airbnb host myself, I would be truly embarrassed to host someone in this condition.

Response from Roger:
Brendon has grossly exaggerate his issues. I sent my supervisor at once after he contacted us. We corrected everything he mentioned. All issues were resolved to his satisfaction. I have over 1000 reviews on this website, and there are always that think they are perfect. Unless you want to have problems, I would not rent to this person. Just look at the picture he posted will tell you about him. Aloha, Roger

The location is central to beaches, restaurants and shopping, the view is amazing on the 35th floor. Apartment in general could use some freshening up but are basically what the photos show. Overall was a easy and convenient location and did the job.
