We were welcomed by Fabrice (Jean-Pierre's colleague) and found him very warm and informative and willing to assist us.

Cosy little place on the edge of Marais and in walking distance to many attractions. Great if you like a real bedroom separate from the kitchen/living area. Restaurants, shops and grocery stores just a few steps away, as is public transport. What I really appreciated was how quiet it was at night!

I like to return to Paris for long stays to re-immerse myself in the culture, the language and, of course, the food. The apartment was ideally located close to a subway on a nice commercial street in the "Marais". Perfect for long strolls exploring the area or for catching the metro to wander elsewhere. The apartment has a big bed in the bedroom and also a nice sized sofa bed that we found quite comfortable. There are the normal amenities but in addition a combination washer/dryer which was wonderful for a long stay. It is safe with 2 sets of gates with passwords. On the 7th floor with an elevator! And affordable too! Who could ask for more!

Excellent location with lots to do in the area. The metro is close and we had no problem getting a taxi or Uber to and from the apartment. We walked to many popular tourist locations (Seine, Notre-Dame, Eiffel Tower, Louvre, etc.) There are shops, bakeries, stores and restaurants on this street -- great location. The apartment is nicely furnished with everything you need for a pleasant stay. We wanted to make a few meals in the apartment, so the stove, refrigerator and microwave were useful. Communication with Jean-Pierre was easy, and he provided lots of useful info for our stay (best restaurants, bakeries, etc.) I definitely recommend this apartment for your stay in Paris!

This apartment was in such a great area! When you leave the apartment there's restaurants, shops & grocery stores. Also there's the subway at the end of the block & Notre Dame is 10 min walk. Perfect location & you get exactly what you see through the pictures.

Jean-Pierre Fichet
It is 17 years since Jean-Pierre left his native region to "climb" to Paris and work in the kitchen under the direction of several great chefs. After an initial break in Latin America, he decided to leave permanently for the United States in 1998 to seek the American dream. He quickly became noticed in the Francophone community in the "Bay Area" in San Francisco and became "Your French Chef at Home" for the California jet-set. But the country's call was heard! In 2000, he returned to Paris to invest in real estate, the company RentParis ... and refine his knowledge of good restaurants, with or without a star!
