Fully furnished next-to-downtown rooftop studio with a private panoramic 40m2 terrace with the best vista in town. Free pick up & drop off to bus/train/airport-transfer. Free bicycles. Free rakija. Free flexibility.

The space

The pictures and reviews say it all. For your after-hours entertainment, we added local drinks, dozens of rare board games and a 500gb USB drive filled with quirky, hard-to-find music and the best creative documentaries from around the world. Printers, sushi knives, digital wine coolers & similar existential necessities are available in our other apartment, one floor below. You are coming as friends, so no cleaning fee. Welcome.

Guest access

Note: Parking used to be free in front of the building, but city authorities put their paw on it in early 2016 :( Paying parking is still available behind the building at 8eur/day (24h), or 50c/h for a max of 3h (beyond which they charge the daily fee). Sat 3pm-Monday 7am is free, as well as every night between 8pm and 7am.

Alternatively, you can park for free at a shopping mall (Arena Centar) 5min away from the apartment and leave the car there for as long as you wish. It is safe, you won't need you car while in Zagreb anyways and we'll happily pick you up & drop you off there with our own car. Sorry about that.

Interaction with guests

Will pick you up and drop you off, answer all your questions and direct you in every possible way, but won't hang out much otherwise. With three cool kids and one mad film in the making, I'm sure you'll excuse me. In case of emergency, I can assist you within 5 minutes, as we live around the corner.

Other things to note

Private dental care and medical tests in Zagreb cost a fraction of Western rates, while having equal professional standards. They are easily bookable at short notice and can literally offset the cost of your entire trip, so bear this in mind as possible added-value.

Barbara hosted us and she was great! She picked us up and dropped us off at the bus station and provided all the information we needed to get around Zagreb (including a recommendation for the best restaurant). Her place is very clean, spacious, and in a great location. We want to come back to Zagreb during Christmas next year and stay at the same place.

Great, quirky bolt hole with its own fantastic terrace up on the 8th floor. Perfect distance from the city centre so you feel like you're 'coming home' and get chance to walk off the kilos of grilled meat you had for dinner! Barbara made us feel very welcome and was on hand next door and on the phone for any help we needed. Highly recommended and we'll definitely stay again

Absolutely wonderful place, we were heartbroken not to be staying for longer. Couldn't recommend more.

Unfortunately we were unable to meet Boris, however Barbara was an excellent host, she picked us up from the bus terminal and after a short drive we arrived at the apartment. The apartment itself was clean, secure, and spacious with all the amenities needed and more, not to mention a great view over Zagreb from the fantastic roof terrace! The apartment was in a great location with easy access to the city centre, trams, a nearby bank, supermarket, bakery and a great cafe below the apartment. Again Barbara was very helpful and easy to contact, we were provided with advice on good places to eat, drink and sites to see and a map of Zagreb. Barbara really helped us get a great start to our trip which was well worth the money! 10/10 would stay again!

We really enjoyed our time in this apartment, Barbara kindly picked us up from the bus station and was very welcoming when we arrived. The apartment is small but has everything you could need for a few nights stay and is nice and cosy for two people. The terrace is the real bonus though, it is huge and has amazing views all around, a great place to sit and read or relax when you're tired from exploring! There were also games and a hard drive with movies at the apartment as well as maps and lots of other useful thing! Thanks to Barbara for making us feel welcome and stay in this lovely flat!

It was a great opportunity to explore Zagreb and entire region thanks to advise Boris and his wife have given us. The flat is situated on one of the main streets making it extremely easy to commute to every part of the city. The apartment is great for couples. Highly recommend the place

Barbara met us at the bus station in Zagreb very promently. She was extremely welcoming and helpful with any questions we had. The apartment is absolutely wonderful - it may be small but it has absolutely everything you need to be comfortable on your stay. The location was perfect as it was only a short tram ride to the centre of Zagreb and had a number of shops and a supermarket only minutes away. The balcony is definitely a highlight as it offers a really great view of Zagreb and a nice open space to chill out in the evening. I highly recommend anyone travelling to Zagreb to stay here, we would definitely love to return at some point :)
