Christine made us feel very welcome, and was very helpful with advice. The place is exactly as described, with easy access to all the joys of Sete. The apartment is small. The bedroom is tiny, with a standard double bed. We found it cramped. 4 people would struggle.

Christine met us when we arrived, and made us feel extremely welcome in her apartment. Everything was according to the decription, and we barely used our car for the next few days, walking and enjoying public transportation around the area. Highly recommanded!

We had excellent and clear communication with Christine before arriving including how to get from the train station to the apartment by bus. The place is beautiful- cozy and with an amazing view that stretches your eyeballs in a relaxing way. We are now addicted to watching the boats come and go! Sete itself is a real town: all ages, beach and port activities, friendly interactions, museums, great seafood at a reasonable price, neighborhood life. Christine and Kamel met us downstairs on arrival for a cup of coffee and showed us the highlights to see on a map in the apartment (as well as giving us a gift of a bottle of wine)- lots of reasonable wines are produced in the region and we are still drinking them back in Paris. The apartment is big enough for a couple quite comfortably. I snore and my husband is tall so one of us slept in the double bed in the bedroom and the other on the fold out fouton couch in the living room, both comfortable. Let Christine know ahead of time if you are going to use the two beds. The bathroom was big. The kitchen perfect (we cooked as well). If you can't figure out the stove top for cooking, induction heating (we had never used one of these before). There is a good wi fi connection in the apartment. You will probably spend most of your time at the window when you are home for good reason. We were also lucky enough to be there during the Escale a Sete which is a saiboat and music festival that occurs every 2 years. This apartment is like having box seats for it. We also walked to the nearby beaches although you can also take a bus. Thanks again Christine for your hospitality-we can't wait to be back there and because we explored all the neighborhoods while there, and because we loved your place, we will definitely come right back there directly to your lovely sea view apartment!

Sète is an incredibly charming port, with tonnes of events for its size. The apartment is superb - very well kitted out. Christine makes sure there is juice and spices and various food staples, so you don't need to worry about buying the basics if you're staying in one night. There's a handy map of Sète on the wall, and Christine gave us many recommendations when we arrived (in fact we had a drink with her at the café downstairs!). All these little things make it a cut above most Airbnb places - it's hard to find better! The view

Christine made me feel very welcome, with very helpful descriptions of the area and how to reach other places while reachable at all times if needed. The studio apartment is exactly as described and the area is very convenient (plenty of restaurants and nice beaches at a 20 minutes walking distance after a nice way). The studio apartment came equipped with everything you could need (including parasols, iron, shopping cart, etc). The unit can get a little hot (no A/C). There is a ventilator in the ceiling that helps a little in the very hot days! So, a very positive experience in a studio with very nice views (as you can see from the pictures).

Everything was perfect! I feel like I have new friends in Sète! The listing was very accurate, showing the beauty of the sea and the coordinating colors of the apartment. The neighborhood is perfect, with a beach frequented by the residents of Sète--far from the crowds of the major beaches! The pool also is very inviting, giving the opportunity to talk with other residents, who were also very welcoming and helpful. There are several cafés and restaurants right at the entrance to the building. I was there for the Fête de la musique, which I was able to watch from the terrace. Another plus--I recommend watching the fishing boats coming back to port in the afternoon (around 3-5 p.m. depending on the season.) Also, with all the modern conveniences, it was a pleasure to read and send emails from the terrace. And, all the channels available on the television are perfect for speakers of various languages. And, the incredible market, with all the fresh fish and little restaurants serving fresh seafood is a ten-minute walk away! Priceless! I hope to return soon!
