If you are looking for a comfortable and relaxing home-away-from-home, this top story corner unit may be just what you're looking for. For professionals travelling for work/business, couples on a romantic get-away, tourists to the City of Edmonton, this condo will surely meet your needs. Situated between Edmonton's river valley and the downtown core, this condo provides accessibility to both business/nightlife as well as nature and outdoor leisure. Running/biking trails are just steps away from the front entrance.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, stove, fridge, microwave, plates, pots, pans, glasses, cutlery and other basic kitchen appliances (blender, mixer, toaster, waffle iron, kettle). The balcony has a BBQ for your year-long use as well.

A 46" flatscreen TV in the suite is connected to an Apple TV. Surround sound speakers are in the unit which are capable of playing tunes from your mobile devices wirelessly (via AirPlay Wi-Fi and Bluetooth). DVD-Blu-Ray Disc player is also available for use. The bedroom also has a small TV connected to cable and Netflix.

This unit is meant to be enjoyed. The outdoor balcony space is large and provides a lot of afternoon light. If air conditioning is a concern, I assure you that the evening breeze will keep you under the covers during the summer nights.

A washer and dryer is conveniently located on each floor. Machines are card-operated.

A secure underground parking space is available with this booking.

Guests will have full access to the suite and all amenities in the building, including an indoor pool with hot tub, dry sauna, exercise room, games room, an underground parking stall.

The neighbourhood

Edmonton's downtown is the hub of commercial, arts and festival activities. Perched on the spectacular river valley, downtown Edmonton features Sir Winston Churchill Square, a grassy space characterized by large trees and fountains, where festivals and arts events are hosted all year round. Over 500 businesses are interconnected by a multi-level pedway system that makes downtown a pleasant and dynamic place to spend the day, even in the harshest weather.

Edmonton has more than 160 kilometres of maintained multi-use trails. Go for a leisurely stroll, enjoy a bike ride or inline skate through Edmonton's beautiful river valley.

Getting around

This listing comes with a secure underground and heated parking stall. Access to bussing is a 5 minute walk away. Renaissance Place is situated just south of Central LRT Station. I have found that Bay/Enterprise Square station is more convenient station to walk to (about 10 minutes).

Other things to note

An aquarium is housed in the suite as well as a variety of different plants. I do ask guests to feed the fish once per day. Depending on the length of the stay, I may ask you to water the plants.

Simon has been a great host, we're very happy with our one month stay. It has everything a comfortable home has, artistic decor and comfortable setting. we really like the wireless Bose surround sound, you can just simply play Spotify from iPhone. Simon has also shared a lot of local info on restaurants, arts scenes etc. we definitely recommend anybody to stay at simon''s place if you visit in Edmonton.

My boyfriend and I had a fantastic 3 day stay in Simon-Marc's apartment. It was immaculately clean and very comfortable. Simon-Marc was a gracious host making us feel right at home. The aquarium and all the plants make the home feel like an oasis in the city, even in winter.
