This apartment definitely lives up to its description of a "sunny" apartment. It is very comfortable for two people. The unit not only has a toaster and microwave but also an electric stove that allowed us to prepare a few meals It is a close 10-minute walk to the train station, the bus station and the tourist office. The apartment is only about a block or so behind the Piazza San Agostino where there is a farmer's stand selling fruits and vegetables every morning from Monday to Friday and two other vendors selling clothing and other goods. We were lucky to have visited Arezzo in the month of September. On the first weekend, there was the antiques market at the park; also on the first Sunday there was the Saracino festival; on the second weekend there was a street fair with food vendors and other vendors selling all sorts of goods, including clothing in and around the side streets of Piazza San Agostino; on the third weekend there was the street food fair also held at the park. Paola, our host, was always very responsive. Nimmi, the housekeeper, was very helpful and spoke English. After spending two and a half weeks in Arezzo's city center, we could not have asked for a better location. This is the best area to stay in Arezzo.

We had a fantastic stay at Paola's! It was easy to walk to the centre and there were restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The place was clean, bright, and Paola even left a bottle of wine. Cleverly designed studio apartment. I would definitely recommend staying here if you go to Arezzo!

Paola and her father are wonderful hosts. They were welcoming and answered many questions we had, and even helped us print out our boarding passes. Unfortunately we arrive late at night, but her father was extremely gracious and welcoming us. The accommodations were comfortable and lovely. The air conditioning helped make our stay extra comfortable. Arezzo is a beautiful city, and this apartment is less than a five minute walk from the nearest piazza, many bars (in the Italian sense), and gorgeous architecture. Also, only about a 15-20 minute walk to the Arezzo train station. Grazie mille!

Paola's apartment is a great spot very close to the center of Arezzo. It's spacious and quiet, well-equiped with everything you need and the ground terrace is a perfect place to have a quiet breakfast. I would definitely reccomend it!

We came to Arezzo for the first time to see the antique market. GPS brought us to Paola's with no problem. There is a parking garage one minute's walk around the corner. The apartment is only one block from the centro storico. It is a one room studio with every necessity and met our needs perfectly. A few specifics: dishasher, excellent air conditioning. External steel shutter lowers with the press of button to block out all light from the street at night. Security gate. Paola, you've done a beautiful job with this place! Tom & Jeanne

Despite never having met me face-to-face, Paola was very proactive with making sure my week-long stay was comfortable, and I appreciated her effort. Paola had a bottle of red wine and some light snacks waiting for me, which were very nice gestures. The unit gets an excellent amount of light that is accurately depicted in the photos. There were little details in the unit that I appreciated, e.g., a mechanically operated screen to block out morning sunlight, a comfy and thick memory foam mattress to compensate for the sofa bed, a working A/C unit (a rare thing in Italy), dishwasher, microwave, and semi-private terrace. The overall space was lovely and provided an optimum space in which I could get writing and work done.
