Traveled in from Colorado and stayed here during our son's lacrosse tournament in Bel Air. Despite the half hour drive to the field, we'd definitely stay here again. Caye's recommendation of the market store for breakfast sandwiches was "spot on". Freshly made chocolate cookies by the wonderful cook was a great surprise on our last morning there. The house was full of character and beautifully restored, furnished, and decorated. My wife fell in love with their beautiful flower garden and Franco's warm goodbye hug. : ) One of the biggest highlights for our boys was that they were able to fish behind Caye and Franco's house, just two doors down. They successfully caught a couple of bass and catfish. Our son's lacrosse team was jealous hearing that he was able to go fishing in the evenings and all they had were the typical hotel swimming pool and hot tub! : ) We'd definitely stay here again.

Thank you, Wayne, for the kind words and taking the time to share your thoughts. We thoroughly enjoyed hosting you and your family! We love to share our yard and creek with other garden/nature lovers, and especially enjoy guests who appreciate historic restoration. It would be lovely to host all of you again - any chance for repeat lacrosse success next year? : ) And Franco just reminded me to thank you for leaving those water bottles. He is taking one out with him during his bike ride. Now, if only there was a way to get him to finish the whole thing....Enjoy being back home! Thanks again, Caye

This was such a wonderful house! We loved the house's charm, and the location was great because there were some great restaurants and shops within walking distance. Caye and Franco were great hosts too. I highly recommend.

Our stay was perfect! Caye was there when we arrived to let us into the cottage and gave a great tour. The house is located in middle of downtown Northeast and allowed us to get a great taste of the town. We were staying for a wedding in Rising Sun and the cottage provided a perfect place to hang out and relax in between events. We loved staying right in the middle of the small downtown of Northeast and will certainly be staying here when we return.

Dan, I really hope you are able to return! We are so flortunate to be on the North Bay of the Chesapeske, within walking distance of the town's waterfront park, and an easy drive to Turkey Point where you can walk out to the light house and stand on cliffs 100 feet high to view the Headwaters of the five rivers akin

My family and I stayed long-term for business reasons. The hospitality from Ms. Caye and Mr. Franco was superb. The rental was perfect for our needs and Ms. Caye offered an abundance of suggestions on family adventures for us. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in North East, MD.

"Semi" retired, I continue to work part time as a nurse, but enjoy cooking, reading and gardening whenever I have a chance. My husband, Franco, is a retired barber who was born in Italy and speaks fluent Italian. He spent several years meticulously restoring our residence and our lovely guest cottage. Besides maintaining our historic properties, Franco is a cycling enthusiast, beekeeper and gardener. Together, we operated The Inn at North East Creek, a beautiful bed and breakfast, for six years. We look forward to providing the same high quality accommodations in our rental property as we did for our B&B guests. Weather permitting, we both enjoy spending a pleasant evening along the banks of the creek watching the abundant wildlife. We hope our guests will do likewise!
