Bright and sunny tranquil space with lovely bed, antique French armoire, antique washstand, Tibetan rug, office supplies, desk and comfortable chair and a window AC with remote. This room has a southern exposure so gets great light and is a very quiet room. This room is on the 3rd floor in the rear of the house & very close to the bathroom.
Trash collection comes early 7-ish) on Tuesday morning. This might be the only disturbance to your sleep.
I have spent years lovingly renovating my home. When I bought it it was a frat house with purple moldings and green floors and bare light bulbs hanging from the ceilings. A friend suggested I should try Air B&B because I enjoy meeting new people from all over the world. It is a 6 bedroom house and I can only sleep in 1 bed at a time. It has been 2 years now and I LOVE being an Airbnb Hostess!!
If you need extra space to prepare for a meeting or presentation usually the dining room is where people do that.
You are also welcome to have friends over for dinner, use the grill outside or relax on the back porch. I also have a decent television and a comfy sofa you can relax on if you just want to kick back and watch a show or movie.
With the exception of other people's rooms the entire house is open to guests. Have a friend or colleague over for dinner or to watch a movie in the living room. Want to grill a steak? I have a propane grill outside near the garden. I want guests to feel at home.
Interaction with guests
If I am here I am happy to be of any assistance you may need. I want your stay to be a pleasant one. If you just want to be alone - that's fine, too!
There is a washer/dryer in the basement. I also have irons, ironing boards and a clothes steamer for guests' use. The kitchen is fully open for guests to use as well. I just ask that you clean up after yourself if you cook a meal. There is a Safeway 2 blocks away; a Bank of America 1 block away. and a CVS drug store 1.5 blocks away. This is a great location.

First let me say that I have FIVE (5) ROOMS not Homes!
I have a 6 bedroom house in Charles Village West near R House, Otto bar, BMA, Paper Moon Diner, Sweet 27, Parts and Labor...The Movement Lab,..many activities in my area. There are so many new places opening up around here it is difficult to keep up! Which is very nice, actually.
I HAVE A CAT NAMED HANDSOME - because he IS!
(I spelled that with all caps so people will see that. Have had a few allergic guests who didn't READ. Everything....they were In a hurry....ah-choo!Oopsie!)
He is the real owner of the home and kindly allows me to stay here to pay his bills and spoil him rotten. Handsome grew up as a formerly abused stray in the alley and adopted me. He is an indoor/outdoor kitty; has all of his shots and fairly decent table manners.
Handsome is my co-Host - he welcomes my guests, their massages, adoration and Whisker Lickens' - which guests will find strategically placed throughout the first floor specifically in the kitchen and living room.
Should you reserve a room it is with the understanding you will become part of the HRH staff - so let him in and out of the back door if you would be so kind. (Please and thank you in advance.)
The price of the rooms include: all bed linens and towels, a bathrobe, paper goods, shampoo, conditioner (Pantene), body wash, laundry soap, and coffee and teas.
I enjoy the variety of the people who come through my home on AirBnB and learning from them. From Africa to Australia; China, India, Jordan, England, Ireland, Russia, Lebanon, Pakistan, Japan, Israel, Scotland - and more! It has been my pleasure to Host these guests.
I love art, books, movies, travel, and animals.
My dream destinations are Greece, Italy (ALL of Italy!) Australia, Provence in early summer and Monet's Gardens in Giverny, France - in full bloom in May.
