This cabin was perfect! It had a beautiful view and dock and was just the right size for my parents. Dropping them off was a bit complicated. The lane off the main road looks like a driveway so we passed it a few times before figuring it out. We never met anyone from the Realty office, but everything was smooth and the cabin was clean, beautiful, nicely decorated and super cozy! The only things that could be better would be improved instructions for using the TV (you can't watch the news because there's a child lock for unrated channels), and the fireplace would be great to light. I'd highly reccommend.

Everything was perfect at the Cabin on Lake Tahoe. The place was very comfortable and clean. Parking and accessibility was great. The closeness to the lake was excellent. We had a beautiful view from the large deck. Full kitchen. Ate dinner outside on the deck every night. Great place. It is a must to go back to.

Loved staying at this small lakeside cabin with breathtaking views. It was an older style cabin but very comfortable and reasonably well equipped. Good terrace and great jetty to sit and read and watch the lake. Kayak was fun too. Did seem highly priced for single bedroom and given it needs some updating (esp. the bathroom and uneven wooden path down to house).

We could not get enough of the view from this cozy rustic home right on the water. The pictures don't do it justice as to how close this place is to the water. We brought our kayaks and we had no problem with carrying our kayaks to the water. The views from living room and bedroom are breathtaking. The cabin is very rustic. Which worked very well for us. The shower could use an upgrade is the only thing that some people may be turned off by. If you are looking for a fancy home this isn't your type of home. If you want a spectacular view with home right on the water then this is your place. We will be coming back.

I usually write a brief review but this one requires a little more.I'll start with the GOOD. The location, the view, the access to the beach and the dock, are all fantastic! Now the BAD. There is no street sign,no address,no possible way to identify this house untill you go about 75ft down what appears to be a private driveway. At night it would be impossible to find. They should note that there is a 40mph sign right next to the driveway for a landmark. Next the walkway down to the cabin is steep and is a boardwalk in very bad repair, the 2x6 boards are loose and uneven and sometimes flip up when steeped on.Very negligent and could be dangerous. We arrived on a cold rainy afternoon only to find NO wood,no kindling,no paper of any kind, and a broken electric match,no cover on the wood pile. Ended up burning our itinerary and some paper towels Boy Scout style for 45 minutes to get a fire Obviously the host couldn't care less. Now the UGLY, the shower is a rather grim plastic box with an aggregate floor with the drain cover missing. The non mixing faucet leaks and squirts hot water on you as you try to shower. We laughed when we first saw it but the joke was on us. The cabin it,self is very cute, well furnished, and comfortable, and the furnace works great. It would only take a few hundred dollars to fix these problems but for now this cabin is not ready for Prime Time. We left a day early, What a Waste of Money. Bruce Taylor

Views, Views, Views! Did I mention the views? There's nothing better than sitting on your own private pier with nothing but the breathtakingly beautiful panoramic blues of Lake Tahoe to enjoy. We literally spent all our time there and even ventured out with the kayak (a nice bonus!) a couple times as well. The deck at the cabin also has spectacular pine tree filtered views and plenty of shade, and where we enjoyed our meals on the outdoor patio table. When we did venture out, it was on foot via the bike trail to the small market nearby, or the pizza and coffee shop. Chamber's Bar and Grill is also close by (via kayak or walk). Inside, the cabin living area is cute and cozy with a great heater that warms the place up quickly. The bed in the small bedroom was comfortable. The kitchen is basic but serviceable (bring your Keurig pods if you want coffee). Be forewarned, the bathroom is extremely old and out-dated - may be a deal breaker for those who prefer basic, modern bathroom amenities. Otherwise, my husband and I felt lucky to be able to enjoy the million dollar setting of this little cabin for two. Thanks for making it available for us to enjoy.
