We enjoyed staying in this place, especially waking up - clean air from open windows and fresh fruits provided by host. We would be back!

Unless you take the entire guest house you are taking a chance. The hosts are nice and the dog is adorable. It is a business, not a home-like usual Airbnb. While we were there, a group of almost always drunk men and their woman guide were there as well. Every night (3 nights) they were taken to the wine cellar and basically fed alcohol (for money of course) until they could not almost move. Then they were taken out to the yard and one of the owners (the son) joined them for smoking, and shouting. At that point we had to show our discomfort when they crawl back to bed and we were LOCKED IN the house because "the dog may attack the drunk guests". It is one of the most dangerous practices we have ever experienced. Georgia has regular seismic activities. Finally my husband asked them in no uncertain terms the last day NOT to lock us in. So, the last night (although the entire fiasco of drunkenness and shouting and smoking went on) we were at least not locked in. Wifi worked and we had a fan and our own bathroom. Tamara was very helpful with our transport needs and check in, etc. I simply wish they could be a bit smarter about hospitality. Location is not convenient. A long, uphill walk from the center. Honestly, stay in a hotel in the pleasant center. Forget this place. We can not and will not recommend it.

Response from Milorava'S Guest House:
Dear Purobi, I'm sorry if you had some discomfort here, but the same time I'm confused about your review here and why 1. You changed your day of arrival and came 2 days earlier, that days were already booked by others , but I gave you the room and gave you a chance to choose a room you liked more. 2. In this group from the Czech Republic there were wine experts, winemakers, wine writers, sommeliers and ethnic folk singers. They came to Georgia to explore Georgian traditional winemaking and taste our wines. Their folk songs (as you write shouting) were amazing and because you went to bed 8:00 not to bother you, they moved to the undergraund wine cellar in the next house and had a party there.

Go here! Our stay at Milorava's was just perfect. Tamara, Sandro and Tamara's parents are all supernice and warm people who will treat you like family. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfasts and dinners delicious. They make their own wine and gave us a great tour and wine tasting. Furthermore, on the day we wanted to tour the surroundings of Telavi, we had the great luck that Sandro was available. We had a great day with him visiting monasteries and wineries. In short, please go here! You'll love it!

I wasn't sure what to think when I first arrived. Honestly, I was a little disappointed, but then I got into the rhythm of the space. I was give the upper part of the side house. There were two French ladies staying in the bottom part. There was no door, just a stairway which anyone could walk up. So, I was uncomfortable at first but everyone was very respectful of my privacy. This ended up being a great place to stay. It was relaxing and quiet. There was a fan for the upper part of the house, which was nice. There is also a terrace, which was nice to sit out on during the night. I did a wine tasting with the owners and the French ladies. We spent the night talking and trying foods. The fig and vanilla jam is to die for, by the way. The owners were very generous with the wine and gave use 3 or 4 glasses of our favorite wine after the tasting. I bought a bottle of wine and two jars of jam, all of which were a good investment. The town is not that big and the winery is located about 1km up the hill from the center. Do grab a taxi to get your bags up there. It's an easy walk down to the center though. I do highly recommend staying here and doing a wine tasting. How often do you get a chance to stay in a winery? It's great value and the kind of place you can stay a few days and just relax. I almost forgot, there was breakfast in the morning with more food than one could eat. Hands down the best eggs I've ever had. They also invited me to have fresh figs off their tree, which were nothing short of amazing. Thank you for all the hospitality and the wine. I hope to visit again someday.

A lovely place to stay! The hosts are very welcoming and the parents will do anything to help you, even though they don't speak English. Tamara was a great host who made sure everything was in order for our stay. The rooms are nice and the seperate gardenhouse is spacious enough for a larger group. We had a great time here and - of course - also tasted a bit of the great wines they make here!

A nice house with welcoming hosts. A good place to learn about Kaheti winemaking and try good home-made wines.

The house was great and the food was fantastic. We were in Telavi for 8 nights and there was lots to do - walks at Lagodekhi, swimming at Illia's lake, Tsindali Palace, sightseeing in Telavi, visiting monasteries and vineyards. Thank you to family Milorava for making us feel so welcome in Georgia.
