i say very clearly in messages beforehand & in my posting that the lock box code will be sent just shortly before check in. I said to you, word for word, on the day you made your reservation " So, just before check in, i'll send the lock box code & instructions." this is
necessary to prevent (unscheduled) early check ins — no one wants the next guest trying to come in when they're packing up which is what would have happened given that you wanted to show up, without any previous arrangements or advance notice, 3 hours before check in — exactly when the cleaning person was there preparing for you. to hold any of that against me is wildly unfair. there are terms for both sides and my check in terms are VERY clearly expressed. as for the razor— im sorry to hear about that & ive let my cleaning person know. the "coffee stain" is a mark left by a recent guest who burnt the counter - its not a cleaning oversight & cant be removed without replacing all countertops. trash that people on the street throw out is not something i can control, even though i have it picked up bi-weekly. many other people comment on how quiet it is in my home and on how close it is to many things. i also find it to be very quiet for being in a city and very close to many things, but it is, nonetheless in a city. because of that, there are many factors that i can not control & i try to be honest about that in my ad. im sorry that you seem to not be suited for the city or any minor wear & tears of an apartment that has had anyone other than you in it. i hope you are more understanding & less unfair with future hosts.
