Moggs Magic is a comfortable, spacious beach house in an attractive bush setting just 7 min walk from the beach and close to nearby national park.
Moggs Creek beach house is a sunny, spacious, comfortable place to relax. The open plan kitchen/dining/living area opens on to a sheltered deck overlooking the native garden. In winter, enjoy relaxing by the woodfire after a walk on the beach or in the national park which borders Moggs Creek. In summer enjoy surfing at Moggs Creek beach, just 7 minutes walk. There are also plenty other beaches nearby to explore. The popular seaside hamlet of Lorne is a 15 minute drive.
Guests have access to the entire house during their stay. The kitchen is well appointed with dishwasher, double oven, stove top coffee makers and sandwich press. The living area has a split system heating/cooling unit as well as a woodfire, a flat screen TV, DVD and a selection of holiday games and books to enjoy during your stay. There is also a small sunny study overlooking the garden. There is an additional bathroom upstairs, separate toilet and a well appointed laundry with washing machine and dryer.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms:
Main bedroom = queen bed + ensuite
Bedroom 2 = 2 single beds.
Bedroom 3 = bunk bed + single bed + trundle (sleeps 4)
Bedroom 4 is located downstairs. It has a queen bed + ensuite.
There is a large garden with swings and climbing ropes for kids to explore.

Moggs Creek is a small coastal hamlet located on the Great Ocean Road between Aireys Inlet and Lorne, approximately 1hr 40min from Melbourne. It boasts a spectacular stretch of coastline which stretches for 6km from Fairhaven to Eastern View and is great year round for surfing, fishing and walking.
Moggs Creek is bordered by national park which offers excellent walking and mountain bike riding. In many ways, Moggs Creek offers the best of both worlds. Tucked away, it is a peaceful retreat while only a short drive from the amenities of Aireys inlet and Lorne. There is an abundance of activities nearby including the Split Point Light house, Lorne shops and galleries and horse riding. There are also many dining options nearby include the Aireys Inlet pub and the Fairhaven surf club.
The nearest amenities are at Aireys Inlet, a 5 minute drive away (general store, bakery, pharmacy, post office, cafes, medical clinic). Lorne and Anglesea are 15 minutes drive
Other things to note
Please note that we are on tank water. Guests are required to use water wisely during their stay.
BYO LINEN - Pillows and doonas are supplied, but guests need to bring their own linen (pillow covers and sheets) and towels.
Please Be Water Wise: The property is on tank water so please use water wisely.
Rubbish Collection day is early Tuesday morning, so please put the rubbish and recycling out on Monday night.
Pets: Dogs allowed by strictly outside only.
Smoking – Definitely no smoking in the house. Smoking is permitted on the deck and outdoors areas.
Septic System - we operate on a septic system, only flush toilet paper. Disposing of other items, such as hygiene products, sanitary napkins, etc., in the rubbish bin.
GAS for BBQ – If the gas bottle underneath the BBQ unit runs out of gas, please swap it for a full 9kg bottle at the Aireys Inlet Caravan Park and retain the receipt and forward to me for reimbursement.
Damage – Guests are responsible for any breakage or damage to the property. Please let me know if damage has occurred.
Check in/out times – Standard check in 10am and check out 2pm. However we are happy to negotiate if there are not other guests arriving immediately after your stay.

Cate, Andy and their three children (13, 11 & 7) live in Melbourne but escape to the seaside hamlet of Moggs Creek at any opportunity. The spectacular stretch of coastline, nearby national park, abundant wildlife provide the perfect setting to relax and unwind.
