The space

Welcome to Cosy Apartment in Lively Bairro Alto, a comfortable and charming apartment placed in a centenary building of the widely known Bairro Alto area. In 3 minutes walking distance you can reach the elegant and beautiful Chiado, that leads you to the downtown of the city (Baixa) and Rossio, in less than 10 minutes by foot

Interaction with guests

I love to stay in contact with my guests from the first moment of their first message! I can provide tips about my favourite restaurants, sightseeing, places outside of the touristic path or something more specific that you might need!
You can count on me for any problem you might have during your stay inside or outside of the apartment.

The neighbourhood

Bairro Alto is a traditional district and one of the most beautiful historic neighbourhoods of the city.

The narrow and cobbled streets together with building facades decorated with beautiful tiles, clothes drying, traditional Lisbon lamps and flowerpots make of Bairro Alto a very picturesque place.

Inside Bairro Alto, you will find plenty of trendy restaurants serving fresh fish, traditional grocery stores, art galleries, bookshops, stylish alternative fashion shops, pubs and Fado houses.

Bairro Alto is quiet during the daytime and lively at night where you can hear a mixture of Fado music with rock, jazz and house music!

Chiado is only step ahead. It’s well-known for it’s elegance of bookshops, style cafes, trendy restaurants, art noveau jewellery shops and luxurious international shops.

On the top of Bairro Alto, there is Principe Real quarter, a cool actual urban chic area known for it’s viewpoint of São Pedro de Alcântara, art galleries, fashion Vintage shops, a biologic market every Saturday morning inside of it’s shady garden and also gay bars are popular.

Great apartment in the heart of Bairro Alto. It is a lively neighbourhood, however this did not bother us as three young adults staying here. Plenty of suggestions for where to eat or things to do. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality!

Lovely apartment for a weekend getaway. Very much in the action, close to everything you would like to explore. Pedro was very welcoming upon arrival and made us feel right away at home. We hope to be back!

Great location! Right in the heart of Bairro Alta. Easy to get to the various neighborhoods nearby, and exactly what we were looking for. Great communication, and accommodating host too!

We had a perfect stay in this lovely one bedroom. It's in a very fun, central neighborhood. We would definitely stay again. Pedro was extremely flexibly and was waiting for us when we arrived, even though we were an hour late due to delays. The apartment had everything we needed (including an iron, fans to drown out the noise, and a potential space heater). We were even able to watch CNN I agree with previous guests that it can be very loud but we only noticed the noise on Saturday night (we weren't there on Friday so I can't confirm). We came prepared with earplugs but the Saturday noise was really the base from the music being played downstairs. That being said, my partner did not have a problem sleeping and we knew what we were getting into and would gladly pick this apartment again.

Very pleasant. Centrally located with great bars and restaurants close at hand. This does mean that neighbourhood can be noisy at night. Overall a very nice apartment

Our stay in Lisbon at Pedro's apartment was amazing !!! The apartment is beautiful with a real local feel! Pedro was at the apartment waiting for us and gave us so many great reccomendations! The apartment was exactly as pictured, very lovely and very clean. Keep in mind the apartment is in the party area so on Friday and Saturday nights it can be loud at night. This did not bother us as we were out in the party, but if you want to go to bed early the noise could trouble you. I would reccomend Pedro's apartment to anyone traveling to Lisbon !!!!

Pedro's apartment in Lisbon was amazing! Such a fun and lively area of the city and you can feel like your part of the festivities from the balconies sitting in the apartment! He was a great host and let us check in early and gave us a whole booklet and an email of fun things to do and restaurants to try! Barrio alto is a very fun party neighborhood every night of the week that we were there, but despite how loud it was outside we could close all the doors and windows and still sleep well. Definitely try and stay here!
