Cosy, comfortable, bright apartment in the historical centre of Rome (Monti) that can sleep up to 4 people (and even 5 by adding a single sofa bed). It is ideally located for business or pleasure: The Fori Imperiali are a five-minute walk away.

The space

The apartment (70 sq.m) consists of a living room with two windows with a view onto Zingari square and a double sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen, a double bedroom with tub and another bathroom with shower. The floor is in “cotto” tiles and the original style of the apartment has been maintained, leaving the beams visible for example.

Other things to note

The apartment is located in an eighteenth century building, a few minutes' walk from the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, a five-minute walk from the Colosseum and a two-minute walk from the Forum and Palatine Hill. It is just a few minutes from Termini Railway Station. With its old houses, narrow streets and small shops, Rione Monti is one of the most characteristic places in Rome. The area offers trendy venues, wine bars and restaurants. It is quiet during the day and exciting in the evening with a thriving nightlife.

Very beautiful apartment, stocked with fresh fruits, biscuits, juices, pasta and Italian coffee! The apartment is next to Cavour metro station and 15 mins walk to Termini, and also 10 mins walk to Colosseo. Maria's husband Sergio was very nice and helpful, showing us everything of the flat, the local restaurants he recommended were very authentic. Make sure to check out the gelato shop right outside the apartment, they have really unusual flavours, yum yum!

We couldn’t believe how beautiful and quirky this apartment was. It was in an ideal location, just a few minutes’ walk to bars, restaurants, the metro station, mini-marts, taxi rank and of course the colosseum. The apartment was spotlessly clean and was stocked with a few basics; milk, pasta, sauce, fruit, water tea and coffee etc. Our host met us upon arrival and was very friendly and attentive. Gave us some good recommendations for local restaurants and checked a couple of times throughout our stay to see if we were ok. Highly recommended.

This is a place not to be missed. The apartment is very stylish and comfortable too, with so much attention to detail. A big bowl of fresh fruit greats you, together with biscuits and drinks for making breakfast or a light snack. Two bathrooms - and the overall layout is great. The location being 5 minutes from the Colosseum and amid great restaurants is perfect. Remember to ask your host for suggestions of where to eat - spot on!

Maria and Sergio's home is absolutely beautiful. If anything, the amazing pictures don't do perfect justice to how splendid the apartment really is. The location is perfect, being close to Roma Termini and just down the main road. We were welcomed so warmly, with food, drink and all the amenities that we needed, which was fantastic. There were other reviews that suggested the area was noisy, and while there are a few bars, it didn't bother us in the slightest (if anything, the sounds of Roman cosmopolitan life were quite pleasant.) Maria and Sergio were also fantastic hosts. We made a mistake at the train station which led to a slight delay, and they could not have been more accommodating and helpful. Thank you so much, Maria and Sergio - we would absolutely love to stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment is large with everything needed for a comfortable stay. It was warm during our time in Rome so we especially appreciated all the fans that were provided~they kept the apartment nice and cool even without air conditioning. Sergio met us for check-in and was very helpful. He continued to help us throughout our stay with restaurant recommendations, as well as transportation back to the airport. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting Rome!
