Spacious apt. in a beautiful Victorian-style home -- huge windows, hardwoods, architectural detailing, large terrace, stylishly decorated with antiques & (URL HIDDEN) friends often say they wish they could vacation at my place! Large BR with queen + fold-out sofa.
High ceilings, loads of sunlight, charming historic home. Large adjoining living and dining rooms feature two couches, a desk workspace, and a dining table for 6. French doors open onto a terrace loaded with flowers and plants with a comfortable lounge area. Large bedroom has a queen bed, and couch in living room has a fold-out queen. Kitchen has all the appliances and tools you need for making home-cooked meals, plus a Keurig for morning coffee and a washer and dryer.
It's a third-floor apartment, sorry no elevators! There's a scenic view of Stringer's Ridge from the dining room and kitchen.
The space is in the heart of the city and thus has city noise - rush hour can be a little loud.
My house is the opposite of child-proofed, so for your children's safety and your sanity, no guests under age 15 please.
You'll have the whole apartment and terrace to yourself. Help yourself to use of the washer/dryer and all pots/pans/dishes/utensils in the kitchen.
Interaction with guests
I'm always available by text or phone, and if I'm in town while you're staying, I'm happy to drop by if you like! If I'm out of town, you'll have a back-up contact who can help with anything you need.
No smoking, animals, or small children. (Sorry kids, my home is the opposite of child-proofed!) Most of the home is furnished in wood and leather, mostly family antiques, so please treat the furniture kindly and always use a coaster!
Please keep private anything behind doors (cabinets, closets, drawers, etc.) - this is my home and I've probably stuffed a lot of clutter behind those doors in anticipation of your arrival!
Oh, and if the plants on the terrace look thirsty, I'd appreciate you giving them a little drink!
Hi there, I'm Natalie! I live in Chattanooga, Tennessee, my adopted home of 10 years. I love it here for the mid-size city amenities and close-knit community, but especially all the outdoor play opportunities! I'm the VP of a small business that sells cycling vacations all over the world, which is perfect for my personal travel philosophy of getting off the beaten path, interacting as much as possible with my host community, and being active. I travel quite a lot (domestic and international) for business, but am always ready to hop a flight or roadtrip for personal interest on weekends I'm "home" as well. I enjoy hiking, road cycling, mountain biking, and am a newbie pursuing yoga. Hope to meet you sometime!
