My unit is close to the CBD so handy to the railway station and other public transport, the Princes Highway, golf course etc.

Traralgon has tonnes of eateries, coffee shops, a few wineries and play centres.

I have a queen-sized bed in a comfortable room with an easterly aspect.

It is a quiet area (according to a number of guests) despite being close to the railway line, highway and a small airport.

I have basic facilities so please confirm what I have to avoid disappointment.

The space
It is in an area where you can just blend in with the other residents as I am in a block of 12 units that's reasonably private.

Only one of my (bed) rooms is available which is private but not lockable and as I store personal things in there I reserve the right to have access to these any time.

The rest of the facilities are shared with (me). It would be rare for me to have another guest or a personal friend staying at the same time and I will always ask your permission if you would mind them staying where possible.

I am close to the CBD of Traralgon so a short walk will get you there. Population is about 25,000 (2021) so that should give you an idea of the size of the shopping centre and what shops/businesses are here. We do have a major hospital about 10 mins' drive away, a supermarket about a 15 min walk, service station about 10 and many other shops close. Railway station is about 10 mins' walk and highway same (for public bus services) and for the more privileged guests who might want to fly here, a small airport! Not sure about any small commercial airlines that operate from the airport, you would have to check that yourself.

I am a single middle-aged woman living in Melboune full-time atm although come home to my unit at weekends. I like the idea of being a hostess and meeting people from all around the world whilst making a bit of money. I had met another hostess who lives in Geelong, Victoria and so it was this meeting that sparked my interest. I have travelled a bit myself and would love to do more when money and time permit. Five things I can't do without???? Food, travel, dancing, my mum and shopping! Favourite destinations???? Mmmm, loved the Northern Territory, the south island of NZ and the few parts of Europe I can remember. Books? Damage Done, First Person Plural, Monster. Films? Titanic, Coolangatta Gold, Daisies in December. Shows? Midsomer Murders, Taggart, South Park, The Chase. Music? Anything but Heavy Metal. Food? Most! Roast Lamb, soups with barley, trifle, anything hazelnut flavoured, halva among other foods. My style of travelling depends mostly on how much money and time I have but I prefer to fly, take a tour, especially in a new area or hire some wheels if appropriate. Life motto? Mmmmm, don't have one. I just believe in living mostly for the now but keeping the future in mind.
