As our guest you will have access to the entire home and yard.

Interaction with guests

We will be available by phone anytime. Please feel free to contact us. We can also give great dining recommendations!

The neighbourhood

The house is in a quiet neighborhood and sits at the end of a cul de sac.

Getting around

For guests flying into Nashville, you can be at the front door in under 7 minutes. Uber rides are around 7-10 dollars. If you rent a car, there is a gas station just outside the neighborhood for a quick fill up when you are returning the car.
The house is close to the airport and around 11 miles from downtown Nashville. We have found that renting a car seems to be the most economical way to get around town from our house.
Nashville does not have rapid public transportation, so Uber/Lyft/Taxi could wind up being the same cost as renting a car if you are going to and from downtown every day. During a three night stay, a rental at Enterprise is generally $125-150 for a regular passenger car.

Other things to note

Nashville has relatively mild winters, but if snow is in the forecast, we will salt the driveway as it is on a hill.

Exactly as described and great communication. Was so much better than staying in a hotel!

Everything advertised in the listing was accurate. Carl and Ann Marie were also very accommodating, with our schedule. If we ever get back to Nashville we would definitely stay there again.

Our stay at Carl and Ann Marie's beautiful home was wonderful. The house is so comfortable, clean, and welcoming. Carl and Ann Marie were so gracious and it was very easy communicating with them. This was our first time in Nashville (me, my fiancé, and our mothers) and it was the perfect place to come 'home' to after our days of exploring the city. The home was VERY clean, and the little touches that Carl and Ann Marie put into it made it even nicer. We enjoyed waking up each morning and sitting around the beautiful kitchen table, drinking coffee and eating breakfast. And at night, relaxing on the couches, talking and watching TV. We loved having a keurig here, and the wifi connection was very good. The master bedroom also has a television, which I liked very much. The house is very close to the airport (about 5 minutes) and downtown Nashville was very easy to get to, a 15 minute drive ($13 uber ride). The house was an excellent value. But, most importantly, Carl and Ann Marie were an absolute pleasure to talk to. This was our first airbnb experience...and it was wonderful.

Enjoyed our stay. Carl and Anne Marie were great to deal with and the house had everything we needed, a home away from home. Uber for us was the best for going downtown to see the sights and sounds. $15 for 4 persons one way. For the other areas we visited we used our vehicle. Will definitely come back again.

We had a great time in Nashville and coming "home" to Carl and Ann Marie's rental house was the best part of the end of the day. It's conveniently located with a drive into downtown taking about 10-15 minutes. The house itself was well-appointed and we were all comfortable with lots of space to relax and enjoy our time.

If we could give Carl and Ann Marie more than 5 stars we would! The house was just what we were looking for, quiet, clean, good location, nicely appointed and good books!

Carl And Ann Marie User ProfileCarl And Ann Marie is a superhost.

Hello! A little info about us... Carl is a manager at a flooring store and Ann Marie is a realtor here in Nashville as well as a cardiac nurse at a local hospital. We have been married since 2011 and enjoy traveling, hiking, camping, canoeing, or just grilling out with friends.
Carl's favorite trip so far was to Germany where we went to Oktoberfest and got to see a lot of other sites, and Ann Marie's favorite trip was to Alaska.
While Ann Marie is very diverse in the realm of music, Carl is stuck in the 90's.
When it comes to food, we are both pretty adventurous and will try about anything so long as it doesn't bite back!
After hours, Carl likes wood working (built the kitchen table you'll be eating on) and a good beer...or working on projects around the house or yard. Ann Marie enjoys winding down with a glass of wine and a good book.
Anyhow, thanks for taking the time to learn a little about us. We look forward to meeting you when possible and learning about you as well.
