The room was cozy and comfortable, far from the hectic life of a city. Easy access to public transportation since is very near from the train station. Alot of shops nearby which is very convenient. Aekyung as a host was very friendly, hope to come back next time and take a proper tour around saitama

Aekyung's place was just what I needed. A quiet place away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It's not for everyone, granted; if you're seeking to rush though Japan and try to see everything at once, it probably won't suit you, but if you're looking for solace, or solitude, or just an exceptional chance to experience true Japanese suburb life, this is where it's at. The room is cozy, comfortable and you can fall asleep in seconds because of how carefree the space makes you feel. It's clean, has an electronic toilet and washer and air conditioning. Although I was alone, the space can probably accommodate up to 4 comfortable and 8 if you really want to push it. It wouldn't made the perfect getaway for a family or a group of friends who want to tour the countryside. Being board games even. Nearby are great food; ramen, soba, steak and an assortment of local traditional food. Sights such as farmlands and shrines. Just top 30 places to visit in Hanuki and you'll see what i mean. The train station is really 3 minutes as advertised and you can always travel down to Omiya or town for some city experience but then you're probably better off just getting a place directly there. I was looking for a place to stay and relax and this was perfect for me. For the price it was really worth it! Aekyung herself is a funny and jolly host. She can speak english well and was extremely helpful. She also took me around to experience some of the fiber foods in the area. It was an amazing experience getting to eat the local cuisine as the menus were in Japanese. She also brought me to attraction places by car. She tries to be a great host and if you need someone to take you around the area, it would be her. Would I recommend this to a friend? Yes, especially if they are looking for a place to hang out and take it easy in Japan. Overall it was a fun stay and I am happy to be your guest. Good luck with future hosting, Aekyung. Is been a pleasure!

Aekyung was an excellent host! She gave me clear directions to the train station and picked me up. She was friendly and made me feel right at home. She was really considerate, took me to get sushi, and gave great recommendations. Her apartment was easy to get to and from a train station and in a good location. Even though I could only stay one night I would have liked to stay more :)
