We liked the place a lot, it has an amazing terrace and the rooms are big and cozy. Silvia's father handed over the keys to us, he was very friendly and helpful. The inner city is in walking distance and you can easily find anything in the area.

It wasn't too far off a walk to the train station and the main attractions.

Silvia was friendly and responsive. The apartment is very spacious and well equipped. The private terrace made the apartment well worth it. It was a nice walk along the river to the central sight-seeing locations. I would recommend this place to a friend.

We had a lovely welcome by Silvia and her father. They had waited patiently as the last part of our journey took longer than expected. The apartment was as pictured, spacious, and with an Italian feel. We were glad to have the use of a dishwasher and washing machine too. As the weather was warmer than I have experienced before in April, we really valued the roof top balcony which catches the early morning, afternoon and evening sun. It was only a short distance to walk to the local shops for bread, fruit and vegetables and also to a well stocked supermarket. Staying among the local people made a welcome contrast to the busier more touristy parts of Florence. On leaving it was only 3 stops by tram to Santa Maria Novella station with the tram stop just at the end of the road.

Very comfortable, spacious apartment in a quiet location with a river view. It's an old building with lots of personality. The apartment is a bit off the beaten path, but we still found in a pleasant, doable walk to downtown Florence. Silvia's father met us at the apartment as promised. We didn't need anything during our visit, but it was nice to know the family lived downstairs. We loved the local pastry shop -- great prices and wonderful coffee. And there's a pizza/seafood place called C'est la Vie just down the street that drew us back for two of the 3 nights we were in town. Don't miss it!
