Shared an old teak house. Enjoy the rice view from your window. Located 2 minutes walk to the beach. Nice and quiet. Walk trough the rain forest and the rice field to get to the house. Enjoy the experience.

Lovely stay in balian! Great location, just a short distance from the beach. Wayan was very accommodating providing a great breakfast every morning and water throughout the stay. The only downside is the open windows which do allow insects to get in, however there is a good mosquito net provided around the bed so it isn't much of a problem.

Lovely place to stay, really nice location and the owner and his family were lovely. Got cooked a beautiful breakfast each morning. Shame it was raining, as the beach was walking distance. Definitely recommend.

Kind and warm folk, who are there when you need them. Lovely house, with everything you need. Rice paddie view. And a amazing breakfast! When we arrived we were greeted by Ketut who was building his new surfers hut, and check in. He pointed us towards the hidden paradise. Passing through the rice paddies we immediately saw that not a word was misplaced in the descriptions and reviews and that Ketut and Wayan are by right super hosts. The room was brand new, had a lovely bed and important; a mosquito net. We slept like babies with the sounds from the fan and the animals in the rice paddies. The shower was only with cold water but it didn't matter, with the hot weather it was refreshing. Every morning Wayan made us a delicious breakfast, with no exaggeration the best omelette I've had on Bali. Ketut is a surf instructor so if you need he'll kindly tell you the options.

Beautifull place! The house is between the rice fields. The host is fantastic and Balian is a nice relaxed village. If you want to go surfing I would advise to do not hire your board at the store close to the beach. They have old boards and ask high prices.

Amazing host! We loved that Wayan welcomed us with fresh towels and fresh watermelon juice! He is also a great cook and made us delicious breakfast! Very helpful to give us recommendations to walk around the area, book taxi etc. 5 minutes walk from the very quiet Balian beach. The only downside is that the house is a bit close to the main road, so you can hear the sound of traffic at night. Overall, we had a lovely experience, and we will recommend anybody to stay there :)

The beautiful house is set on amazingly green rice paddies a short 5 minute walk from the beach. Away from the hustle and bustle of the very busy road. At night, you will fall asleep to the sounds of nature and nothing else. The bed is very comfortable, has a mosquito net, and the shower has hot water and powerful. Wayan is the perfect host. Always there to help in anything you need. Him and his wife, Ketut, are lovely people and they introduced me to their family who are always around the compound. Their daughter is only 4 and the cutest child you'll ever meet. Balian is a very tranquil little town with such a great community feel. If you are looking to surf, make no mistake, this spot is still uncrowded, unlike Canggu and spots further east. I surfed three days and there was never more than 10 at the peak. Don't hesitate to stay here. It really is a hidden paradise

I was born and grew up in Balian, love animals and nature. been away for a while and now live in Balian. Try to keep Balian as it is and as it was. Supporting locals by bringing modern ideas without leaving local culture. Proudly, locally owned and managed.
