My husband and I visited Kevin during our evacuation from Vero Beach for Hurricane Irma. The circumstances were extremely harrowing, but the minute we entered the deep woods of Kevin's property, we could feel ourselves relax. Birds sang and crickets chirped melodiously, while butterflies and hummingbirds provided visual entertainment on Kevin's deck. His wooden home was beautiful, and as fellow wooden home builders, we could appreciate the artistry and detail that went into its construction. Kevin made us feel so comfortable that it was like we were visiting an old friend. Even though we were quite frazzled when we first arrived (after being stuck in slow traffic for 12 hours), Kevin was patient and understanding of our situation. My husband is sensitive to many chemicals, and Kevin's organic and natural lifestyle was completely in tune with his needs. During the days leading up to the bad weather, Kevin took us on long adventure hikes through his property, including a barefoot walk along a sandy stream bottom that proved to be the high point of the walk. He also guided us to a top-notch sushi restaurant in Tallahassee. Thankfully the weather in Kevin's neck of the woods did not end up being as stormy as in Vero Beach, and as the three of us had fun playing pool, we hardly noticed the sounds of the storm until we opened the doors to the outside. The trip ended up being memorable and full of great experiences, as well as one that we hope to repeat in the future. For anyone who loves nature and adventure wishing to escape from it all, this is an excellent location, and Kevin is an excellent host!

Kevin, was a great host with a lot of suggestions on what to do and where to go to make the most of our limited time. Expect to have some really good conversations and relax outside in nature. The cabin was wonderful and a fresh of breath air. Hope to one day come back and keep exploring the area!

The house is gorgeous. You can feel the nature just stepping in to it. Our room with private bathroom was cozy and really clean. We felt like home. For Kevin Air B&B is not a job, it's away to share his passions for nature, for healthy living and for willingness to make new friends. He also suggest us a great place to have dinner and some places to visit the day we left his house. Breakfast was really natural and prepared with care. On top of this he gave us a great chair massage.

Imagine an experience so delightful that upon arriving down a long stretch of manicured land you find yourself almost completely relaxed before you even open your door to hear nature singing. Within moments, but surely not car salesman's speed, Kevin arrived with a super host attitude ready to assist with luggage and any inquiries. After allowing ample time to settle into my surroundings, in a room so lovely that it literally took my breath away, I was guided through a relaxed tour of his incredible home. I was captivated by the architecture and the rich history that each story held and Kevin was the perfect storyteller to appease to my interests. After a tour through what I call my sanctuary I was offered a complementary chair massage, where I'm fairly sure I left the last little bit of ANY stress I might've had over the past decade. Between the relaxed atmosphere of the airy cabin, the casual presence of this super host, and the sweet aroma of the freshly plucked gardenias, I thought I was in a luxury resort that I surely shouldn't be able to afford for even one night. Kevin was perfect about being present enough to assist if needed, but was naturally intuitive of offering personal space as well. By morning light I felt like a goddess; I woke up to the most beautiful sounds of nature, fully rested after sleeping on Aphrodite's bed of clouds, and took one of the hottest showers I've ever had (ahhhhhh...yesssss) before being guided to the main room by the smell of freshly made organic coffee. Super host Kevin was at it again when he made sure to find some "bird food" (aka sugar) for my coffee and when he hand sculpted the masterpiece organic fruit platter, created mostly from his own garden. As he was flexible for my itinerary, he made himself available to guide me down his perfectly manicured trails where once again I delighted in his storytelling of all our surroundings. He had the trails so manicured that I walked them barefoot and enjoyed doing yoga in multiple locations of his property. If you think I'm exaggerating then I invite you to please follow me on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN): koryogamama, where you can find an entire album dedicated to my stay at The Woodland's Escape. There are videos and photos from this property that will immerse you in the same experience as I described above and you, too, will not wish to stay anywhere else while in this area.

Kevin is a generous and attentive host. His house is immaculate and full of fascinating stories. The area is serene and secluded. It was a wonderful getaway for this city-dweller. The bedroom and bathroom are very private. I especially loved the bathroom's aesthetic. Our stay was short-lived because of the schedule of our weekend, but he had so many adventurous opportunities we didn't have a chance to experience. You will get your fill of nature, be well cared for and make a new friend in Kevin.

What a wonderful place! This home is so beautifully put together and comfortable chairs and bed. The relaxing serenity of nature that you can see from every room is like a cool drink of water. We enjoyed walking the trails and playing pool with our host. Kevin served great coffee and toastt and fresh fruit. He was very considerate of my husband's dietary needs and made him a special breakfast. I wish we could stay longer. The only possible drawback was slow WiFi which could be attributed to the rural location which he cannot be held responsible for, I was actually delighted that my husband had to put down his phone and unplug.

Kevin's house is a beautiful place on a unique and secluded piece of land. It was perfect for a short weekend getaway from New Orleans. He was very accommodating of our last minute request and we had fun taking a tour of his land in the morning. He's quite a steward and historian of the woods that he lives in! Very close as well to the Florida Caverns in Marianna. I would visit again.
