This fantastic 3rd floor, historic, 3 bedroom apartment with open plan kitchen/diner is conveniently situated right in the heart of Edinburgh's New Town (a thriving area full of boutique shops, fantastic restaurants and bars).

The space

This lovely, 3rd floor, historic, 3 bedroom apartment (please note that there is no lift), with large kitchen/diner is conveniently situated in the heart of Edinburgh's New Town (a thriving area full of boutique shops, fantastic restaurants and bars). Hanover Street is an iconic location in the city, being just a short distance away from upmarket shopping at its best! This apartment boasts 3 spacious double bedrooms and caters for 6 people. It also has a large bathroom complete with bath tub and shower over the bath. The apartment is tastefully decorated and stocked with everything you need to make your visit to Edinburgh a great experience. It is a fantastic location from which to explore this charming city but please remember that it is situated on the third floor but due to the fact that it is a historic building it has no lift so it is advisable that you consider this when making your booking.

There is unfortunately no Wifi in the property, but we can supply a wifi dongle at a cost of £20 for 3gb of data or £35 of 7gb.

Guest access

Our guests have full access to the entire apartment. You access the apartment by making your way up a wide stone staircase to the 3rd floor where the apartment is situated.

Interaction with guests

You will be greeted by a member of the Pure Property Management Team on arrival where you will be taken through the check-in process. For your convenience you will have telephonic access to a staff member in case of emergencies or for any other assistance that you need with regards to your accommodation.

Other things to note

Check-in will be available from 3pm to 7pm on arrival day but we need to know your intended check in time as soon as possible because this is a serviced apartment and therefore requires one of our staff members to meet and greet you at the apartment. Please contact us to make these arrangements as soon as possible, but no later than 48 hrs prior to your arrival.

We try our best to accommodate early and late check-ins but this is not always possible due to when the next check-ins might take place. If it is possible then there are extra charges that will apply.  We charge £20 for an early check-in fee and £20 late check-in fee for the first hour after 7pm and then £5 per hour after that to a maximum of £40. Late check-outs will also incur a £20 charge.  This amount must be paid cash on arrival to our representative.

Also please make 100% certain that you have supplied Pure Serviced Apartments with a valid mobile contact number(s) for yourself that you can be reached on the day of travel.

Make sure that you have written down all the contact numbers that we supplied in case their is any mis-communication, flight delays etc.
Note that our office is only in operation Mon - Friday from 9am -5pm

If the above protocol is not followed by yourself and there is mis-communication then Pure Serviced Apartments will not be held responsible

My first BnB experience and I am underwhelmed. Booking and check in process was smooth. Property manager was very responsive and courteous. Property is clean but not worth the money. One needs to take 3-4 flight of stairs that we did not mind. It is like a grad school dorm flat at the best - old, floor squeaks at every step, washroom is just functional. Exterior is not appealing in comparison to adjacent buildings - Property entrance had litter all over.Staircases have a humid stink, there were unused stove, carpets lying outside the flat for entire stay. For families with kids, there are two separate faucets for hot and cold water on sinks - so no mixed warm water. For this spend, our family of 4 could have stayed in a decent hotel - so experiment of using BnB was not worth the experience.

Hi Amit, We have taken your comments on board. As this is an apartment in a residential block there is little we can do about the exterior of the building or how passers-by dispose of their rubbish. It's a huge frustration for us. However, we have had the communal stairway cleaned & we are trying to arrange that the owner of the adjacent flat removes the old cooker & carpets outside his flat.
