Drawers of art supplies and wind blowing curtains, this little Montreal hide-out is the perfect quiet zone in the middle of an electric city. The apartment has a kitchen, living room, bathroom, studio office, bedroom, two balconies and lots of light!

The space

A lovely little chill space, this home welcomes you to a comfy base while exploring Montreal or visiting your friends and family here. There is one double bed in the bedroom, and a big couch if you need an extra sleeping place. Help yourself to the home-made Kombucha in the fridge. Enjoy the striking light that comes through the house at sunrise and sunset.

Guest access

The entire apartment is yours to feel at home, as well as the back and front balconies. Please keep in mind that the back balcony is a shared space with the neighbor, so be mindful of that.

Interaction with guests

My friend Armelle or I will be available for your questions during the stay if needed. If you don't know Montreal very well, I'll send you a list of some of my favorite spots.

1. You are welcome to use some of the art supplies during your stay, just consider a small donation towards the cost if you do so.
2. No parties or loud gatherings. While the sound-proofing is pretty good in this house, I do share walls with a neighbor and so keeping the peace is always appreciated on both sides.

I had a wonderful weekend vacation in Montreal and Alison's apartment was the cherry on top! It's situated in a quiet neighbourhood but conveniently located near shops, restaurants and bus lines that connect with the subway system (Rosemont Station). Very comfortable and the apartment is exactly as shown in the posting.

Alison was a wonderful host. Never made direct contact, but the instructions given for finding the key, and list of details inside the apartment were detailed and accurate. Convenient location to drive into the city. Shops, coffee, and bars just a few blocks from her place. Easy to get to the botanical gardens and downtown via vehicle. We would stay again. Thanks, Alison!

We do not have enough great things to say about our stay at Alison's lovely 1-bedroom apartment. This was my girlfriend and mine's first foray into Air B&B and, given this experience, we are inclined to use this service for all stays in the future. Alison's home was spacious and welcoming and allowed us to explore an area of Montreal I had never seen before. The building was only a short, pleasant walk from a main nightlife area and about 30 minute walk from the gorgeous botanical gardens. Public transportation was also easily accessible. The home itself had a beautiful balcony, a roomy living area, and a friendly and inviting ambiance. Above all, however, Alison was an unbelievably gracious host. Given this was our first experience with Air B&B, she talked us through each step masterfully and even went so far to provide vegetarian restaurant recommendations after learning of our eating preferences. We are very grateful to Alison for allowing us to share in her home and her city and look forward to returning some day soon.

Lovely apartment and Alison was very easy and flexible to work with. Spotlessly clean. In a great location, too, with plenty of Bixi bikes near by and cafes and bars to walk to. I would stay there again!
