Aldolfo is a excellent host! He is quick to respond and his little house was perfect - wifi, "smart tv" with nice sound system and access to YouTube, a full kitchen, fridge, water cooler with purified water, towels, washing machine and drying line outside, gated property, clean, AC, 3 bedrooms 2 bath, hair dryer, T.P., close to a Walmart and across the street from a convenience store/coffee shop/food. It was about 80 pesos (approx $4) to the Malecon and puerta Iguana/the marina so we do wish it was a little closer to the beach but we didn't mind too much. Don't let taxis rip you off but do make sure to tip 10-15% for taxis and restaurants ;) Neighborhood seemed sketch at first but was totally safe. There was a school next door and it's a family area where the community will gather outdoors at night to mingle. The AC was great and we never ran out of hot water even though there were four of us showering. Clothes took a while to dry on the drying line. If you Rent-A-Car it will fit in the driveway and you can lock the gate behind you to the property. We felt right at home there! Aldolfo even ordered us a cab to take us to the airport for our flight home! His aunt opened the house for us when we arrived and picked up the keys when we left in a timely manner. She is so sweet but does not speak English. Direct your questions to the host: Aldolfo. The location was hard for taxi drivers to find. When we would get into taxi I would tell them "Centro city cerca de Walmart , Aramarra" (Cerca de = "near" in Spanish) Centro City is the shopping complex across the street and Aramarra is the name of the neighborhood. Walmart was about a 15 min walk away. You should def check out the local food! There is a hidden market with food vendors inside a few blocks down from the neighborhood Aramarra - it's on the left side of the street if you take a left out of the neighborhood and there are AMAZING quesadillas and AMAZING soup (Sopa) for $2!!! 40 pesos. ;)

Great place, very local and authentic vibe. Everything was great, the people are very helpful. This is a true Mexican experience and not very touristy, which we loved.

The house is very nice and clean. I highly recommend it! We had everything we could possibly have needed - hand soap, towels, clean bedding, comfortable beds, two bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, wifi, netflix, ac, and it's very secured. We had zero issues. The place is not centrally located, but if you don't mind a 15 min cab ride or you will have your own car, it's perfect!

The place was perfect, clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was fine for us (if you have a disability it might be tough to navigate though) and close to yummy places to eat, a market, the cruise dock and a Wal-Mart. The enclosed driveway made it easy to park our rental and Lourdes was lovely when she greeted us and when we went to leave. The ability to stream Netflix was an unexpected benefit (we used our own account). While there we were able to cook our own food, make our own morning coffee (hallelujah!) and visit Sayulita, Boca de Tomatlan, Nueva Vallarta, and Yalapa. The price was incredibly reasonable and Adolfo and Lourdes have made us AirBnBers for life! The one and only drawback was barking dogs in the middle of the night but I don't see how the host can control that.

The house is very centric close to the airport, el malecon and the downtown area. The house is cozy and has everything you need. There is a mercado very close where you can eat the most tipycal mexican food and walmart and even a casino are just blocks away. We were received by Lourdes who was very kind and helpful. Loved your place Adolfo, thank you!

Adolfo User ProfileAdolfo is a superhost.

Hi, my name is Adolfo. I'm from Puerto Vallarta but moved to Los Angeles California in my teenage years so part of my childhood I lived in the house that I'm posting in Airbnb, this neighborhood has the most warming caring people in Vallarta and the best Cenadurias. I love water sports since most of my life I have lived by the beach. Fishing, snorkeling, riding my seadoos, hiking, biking and exploring new places. The places I lived Cancun, Cabo San Lucas, Tijuana, Guadalajara, Fort Worth Texas and Los Angeles California so I took Long road trips trough the states that connect all this cities from Mexico and the United States stopping in every town in between learning different cultures and trying different foods but from all these places I have been to, my heart always brings me back to Puerto Vallarta and it's not because I'm from Vallarta but Vallarta puts a spell on you that always brings you back. To whoever has been here knows what I'm talking about so if you've never been here please try it.
