Amazing place! Everything is very neat and well taken care of. And the bond right infront of the cabin is something else! Oh the joy of the kids (and adults) when they dipped to bond from sauna. Place is quite far from grocery stores, but it's not a problem when you are prepared to it. Mardi Talu is quite a Paradise and highly recommended by us!

We stayed in Villa Mia for a couple of days as a family vacation to Saaremaa and it was absolutely perfect. It is a secluded location, off the main road and near the ocean. The area has everything you need for a holiday as well as a lot of extras. We greatly enjoyed the villa as well as its surroundings. The area is equipped with barbecue equipment, an eating area that fits a good number of people, a little playing yard for the children and scenic area to walk. The villa itself has the most beautiful pond right out the door, a very nice sauna, comfortable living area and cosy floor with 4 bedrooms that fit our entire family well. We hope to be back here for a future vacation

Mart's place excellent and amazingly beautiful! The garden, all common areas and the children's playgrounds are in in perfect condition. The barbecue and the party-house are very nice and we used them for all of our cooking during the stay. The cottage was nice and very cozy. Matches the description and the pictures posted in the listing. Plenty of room for 8-10 people. It could work for 3 families as well. We enjoyed our time at the Saarenmaa and Mart's beautiful place. He is an excellent host and can highly recommend his place.

This place is amazing! It is a bit of a drive from the ferry landing (plan on ~2 hrs from Virtsu), but absolutely worth it if you are looking for an authentic northern-island getaway that still has all of the modern amenities we no longer can live without. Once you turn into the village area, you will not be disappointed. Gorgeous grounds inviting you to walk around and take in the mix of natural beauty and the well-kept man made flowerbeds and walkways; even if other tenants are present (there are a few rental cottages on the premises), there is enough space to yield a sense of privacy. There are several kid-friendly play areas which is a huge bonus for families with children; scenic walk to the beach (not swimmable but pretty). The cottage itself was immaculately clean, with all the necessities. The kitchen area was very small (especially for our group of 10) but still allowed us to make a simple meal without leaving the house (a larger cooking area is available at the stand-alone "party house" and grilling area). If using sauna, account for the fact that it will also heat up the cottage through the shared wall - a welcome aspect in colder temperatures, but perhaps a consideration in the warmer days. The island of Saaremaa offers many interesting places to visit that are rich with history, and Mart's village is conveniently situated within easy - and scenic - driving distance to most of them. A well-stocked small grocery store is also only 15 minutes away by car. If you are a biker, the island roads are a paradise for you! The shore line is pristine and provides beautiful views, especially sunsets (clear weather is required). Summer evenings are full of light and it is easy to forget how late it really is. The nights in August get dark and can be chilly (50's F / 10's C), which is a nice touch for those visiting from warmer humid places. Wind can also be a factor, given the fact that it is an island out in the Baltic Sea, so even in the summer long sleeves and windbreakers are a must to bring along. The village is very kid-friendly and our children--ages 12, 7, and 5--had an absolute blast playing on what seemed like a myriad of different attractions (playscape, tree house, mini zip line, swings, etc.). We did not have to entertain them, and the only challenge was chasing them to bed, especially since it was still light outside at 11 p.m. As the area is secluded and safe, it was a welcomed relief to be able to just let them go and play, without having to closely monitor their every move (every parent out there will definitely appreciate this!). The owner/host is a very friendly person, willing and available to help his guests with any kind of question or request that they might have. Overall, we had a wonderful time at the village, and we...

We were three families traveling together (5 adults and 3 kids) and Mart's Villa Mia was quite simply perfect for us. The villa is situated in a peaceful location, the atmosphere is very relaxing. We enjoyed the sauna and sunsets in the evening. Everyone liked this place. Mart was very helpful and provided us with all needed information.
