Other things to note
The central heating and hot water boiler is in the downstairs front room cupboard. The heating is programmed to come on twice a day but you can easily over ride the system by pressing 'advance' on the controls (top right button for central heating) The water should be on continuous if you find that you do not have enough please check that it hasn't gone off. To turn it on press the advance button on the top left of the control box.
The sitting room on the entrance level has an open fire which will be laid ready for you to light should the weather be chilly. Please ask if you have any questions. Extra logs/coal will be in a basket next to the fireplace.
Please make sure that the fire guard is placed in front of the fire place when leaving the room and overnight.
We leave coffee, tea, milk, fresh bread and croissants for breakfast, along with eggs, bacon, butter jam etc in the fridge. Please do make use of ours spices, tins, oils etc replacing anything that you finish!
We have a cafetierre and will provide fresh coffee.
There are plenty of plates, cutlery and cooking equipment including a blender and a electric mixer.
The oven is electric with a double gas hob you will need to use a lighter or matches to light the hob as the ignition is broken. A chair in front of the cooker keeps the door closed securely- this is on our ‘to do' list!
There is a dishwasher and a combination microwave/oven. Washing machine if required in the utility room.
Tea lights in a box under the sink, candle holders in the kitchen table drawer.
Champagne/wine glasses in the sideboard.
Please ensure that all bins are empty ( see trash info) and that any dirty dishes are stacked in the dishwasher.
Please be aware running the taps in the kitchen effects the water temperature in the middle bathroom… the shower at the top of the house is on a separate system.
Please empty all of the bins in the bathrooms and kitchen before you leave. Trash goes into the large black bin by the front door.
Recycling ( storage under the sink in kitchen) into the black and green containers also outside next to the front door.
Black container: paper,tins, glass bottles
Green: plastic ( milk bottles) and cardboard boxes
Food waste - empty small brown bin under sink into larger brown bin next to front door,
No items to be removed from the house under any circumstance
No loud music or people in the garden after 11pm. please be respectful of our lovely neighbours.
No extra guests unless previously agreed.
