Antonio's place is indeed handy to the bus and train stations. All major Tomar sights are within walking distance. Friendly Antonio gave us a map of the town before launching into an hour-long treatise on Knights Templar symbolism. This was of more interest to one of us, and delayed our exploration of Tomar. Antonio showed us to a small, newly completed attic room. The shower there could only be used as a hand shower because its holder was incomplete. We could not use any other facilities as all were in disarray. Fortunately, there was another guest who gave us the Wifi password as Antonio had to leave for Lisbon almost immediately after showing us to our room. However, we do think Antonio's place may be an excellent place to stay after he has completed all the renovations he has planned.

Antonio is a very helpful host. He can tell a lot about the city and has some very good recommondations for places to see and also for restaurants. He is going to restore his house; thus brand new rooms are available.

Antonio is an amazing host. His place is really close to the train station, and a 5 min walk to get to downtown. Antonio is very passionate about the city and you can hear that passion when he talks about Tomar. He was always there to answer any questions that we had. Had an amazing time in Tomar

We went to Tomar for the Bons Sons Festival in Cem Soldos, and Antonio's hostel was highly appropriate. It is just a stone's throw from the the bus and train station and for those arriving in car there is plenty of parking. Very close to the city centre and the nice sidewalk and bridges built along the Nabao river. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean and well maintained. There is also a spacious living room and fully equipped kitchen, that although we never had the need to use, looks beautifully kept and open to all. We highly recommend staying at Antonio's Hostel if you are passing by Tomar.

Antonio's rooms are bright, spacious, and tastefully decorated. They are within walking distance to the center of town and the Knights Templar's Convento de Cristo. Antonio has a wealth of knowledge on Tomar which he willingly shares making a stay at his place a wonderful excursion. Antonio was also very flexible and helpful.
