Clean, comfortable and well-supplied. Excellent communications by host. The ferry to a fantastic, near-vacant beach is close by and easy. Minimal cable channels though.

The house is beautiful and the location is perfect to explore many spots at the southwest coast of Florida. Ginger is a outstanding host. Thank you very much for everything! Highly recommended. Peter & Denisa

The owner is more than helpful. I rented this home for three months this winter and fell in love with it. An example is I really wanted to have ESPN for New Year's Day football to watch the home town team play in the Cotton Bowl. The host provided it to me for the entire 90 day stay. She goes out of her way to insure her guests are content. The home is small enough to be easily cleaned, yet large enough to accommodate friends who come down to escape the winters up north. The neighborhood is quiet, the neighbors friendly and very nice. Poinciana has little to almost no traffic. The home is equipped with everything one might need, during their stay, be it a few days or for months on end. Had I not bought my own home in Venice I would have rented this one annually for the "Season". It exuded for me a warm and comfortable feeling. Combine that feeling with a compassionate Host and living in Venice is very good.

My husband and I along with my in-laws came to Venice and rented this home. It is a beautiful home well-maintained and I believe Ginger has just about thought of everything. It was very comfortable inside and having two separate bedroom areas with their own bathrooms was a plus. A nice touch was that Ginger left a welcome basket of snacks and goodies for us. There's not much on the outside of this home , she has placed a hammock in the backyard but this would not be the place to stay if you want a home with a view. Although we were just there to sleep and shower and head back to the beaches it worked out perfect ,she has left a pass for the local ferry to take you out to Manisota Island and utilize their private beach. Although in the area there are many many very nice beaches with restrooms for you to use and foot showers before you get back in your vehicle. Venice is a nice area around town and offer some very nice restaurants right on the waterfront. Sharky's of course is one of the more popular restaurants a bit pricey but it is almost a must if you're going to stay in this area a great thing is that they're pier is free and so is the beach and there again you can get something to eat and drink and there's restrooms right there, free parking also and that is a plus if your staying at the beach all day.

Glad you enjoyed the home, sitting in the screened in lanai in the quiet times of the day, you can hear the waves from the Gulf of Mexico and enjoy the beautiful purple blossoms of the Jacaranda tree in the back yard. Scented rhododendrons and banana trees peek over the fence on each side. Exploring, enjoying the ocean, shopping, golfing, trying local restaurants or just relaxing is what vacation is about. The private ferry to the Gulf of Mexico is just down the street-so glad you had a chance to use the ferry pass!

A very well maintained home in a quiet neighborhood. If staying more than a few days, worthwhile to get to know neighbors, they are very nice. Perfect for a longer stay, and well located to what Venice has to offer.

I love the quiet area of the Gulf Coast with its pristine beaches, the sound of the surf close by. The sunsets are breathtaking and the sea turtles come up from May to October and lay their eggs on the beaches here!

I love that you can't see any buildings from our stretch of beach.Take a ride on our little neighborhood ferry to our stretch of Manasota Beach on the gulf. You can certainly drive a few miles down to Manasota Public Beach, Nokomis, Casperson, Venice, or Blind Pass Beach for a different sunset experience each night-they are all wonderful. Of course as hosts we include the annual ferry pass for your family as part of the rental.

Growing up in New England I appreciate the changing of seasons but ocean time was scarce. A few brutal winters later we chose to escape to FL, and I now I feel I am getting "extra summers" by owning a little piece of this quiet area on the Gulf of Mexico.

I worked in the Healthcare field, my family is grown and enjoy the property too, we enjoy traveling and exploring. We are all practicing slowing down, breathing deep and savoring our beach and family time! Life is just too short.
