Ideally located in Chamonix, close to everything, in a modern residence, brand new flat : large balcony, nive view, one bedroom with a large bed, bulk beds for kids, one sofa bed, internet, underground parking. Beds linen and bathroom linen provided.
The Clos du Savoy is probably the Residence that is the most appreciated in Chamonix. Indeed the quality of the buildings in the Residence with gardens, direct access to slopes in winter and its ideal location make it unique. Our flat is in the building C1 that was built in 1990, at the 3rd floor (with lift). This building is in a private calm pathway (97 impasse de l'enclos du Chamois) in the gardens of the residence at 50 m from a main street of Chamonix (Joseph Vallot street) and from the beginners ski slopes. This flat has been entirely renovated in 2015: kitchen, bathroom, wc, floor, painting, balcony,... The balcony is large, oriented East with a beautiful view. In summer we have sun on the balcony from sunrise until 2 pm.
In the bedroom, there is large bed, 160x200, with everything provided. The bunk beds are for 2 children. In the living room the sofa bed is 140x190. Duvets and duvet cover sets are provided including for the sofa bed and bunk beds.
An Oange livebox is provided with high speed 10 Mbit/s access (wifi included). The TV is a full HD TV connected to the LiveBox (offering many channels including international news TV).
In the kitchen you will find : ceramic hob, fridge, waching machine, microwave oven, conventional portable oven, Nespresso machine, coffee machine, bowlers, tea-pot, toaster and oubviously cutlery, flatware, pans,... Also provided a folding clothes rack dryer.
The indoor parking in the basement of the building is particularly useful, notably in winter.
In face of the Residence, a takeway, wine shop, 3 restaurants, ski rental shop,... The most commercial street of the city starts at 150 m with 2 supermarkets, all the stores, restaurants, cinema, guides office,...
Just behind the building a large meadow, which is a ski slope for beginners in winter, offers an access to the Planpraz-Brévent lift.
Close also, around 300 m, you will find the Chamonix swimming pool and tennis club that are particularly appreciated.
Easy access by road having a highway until the entrance of Chamonix. Airport shuttles are particlarly convenient (Mountain drop-offs, Chamexpress, Alpybus). The Chamonix rail station is at 1 km by walk.
Interaction with guests
My wife and I are not constantly in Chamonix. We have another flat in Chamonix were we regularly go notably during school holidays. If we are not in Chamonix to welcome you a person of confidence from the Residence manages the arrival and departure - knowing that we can be contacted by mobile should you need any help during your stay.
Other things to note
Bunk beds are only for children.
Duvets, pillows and duvet cover sets are provided as well as bathroom towels, bath mat and dish cloths.
Also provided in the flat : hair dryer, folding clothes drying rack, iron, ironing board.
A ski loacker in the ground floor of the building.
The name of the internet livebox and the password are written on the livebox.
