The directions need to be clearer and there is a problem when mapping it through the Airbnb link. The street number appears as 1426 whereas the actual address is 1426. Otherwise, I liked the location and my room was nice and clean. The breakfast & coffee is mediocre, but it's served in a lovely garden. The garden is a real bonus to relax in at the end of a long day of sightseeing.
The place is overpriced and has mosquitoes. I paid $200 for this + the city tax for a small room for 2 adults & 2 young kids. There wasn't any instructions on how to get there till after I reached the place. The map at the time of booking showed the location to be stone throw away from the boat-bus station. But this turned out to be quite internal via very narrow path-ways. The small TV in the room didn't work either. There were no instructions of what to expect in a room except for a small safe. We found the mosquito repellant in the morning after the damage was done. With a double bed and 2 single beds there was just no room to move around in the room. There was no major touristy help available either after reaching the unit. The breakfast was served without plates and we literally ate from a bread basket. I don't know if it is cultural but I've never seen anyplace that serves end-slices of bread to the customers. There was no one at night to help with kitchen needs for younger kids. The kitchen is almost non-existant and only accessible to Valter himself. There is literally no space to leave your luggage inside the house and we had to leave it outside in the garden after it had rained in the morning. We were under constant fear that we will go back to pickup all our bags (and the contents) wet. Thanks to rain God and we were saved. Will not stay here again.
