Somewhat secluded, with a scenic waterfront location, large deck and comfy king bed. No dishwasher, but all other amenities, full kitchen. A great place for a BBQ, with many birds and the occasional seal to share the view.

Amazing location and amazing views! Bill was a great host- accommodating, communicative, and thoughtful! We had a lovely stay and attended a wedding at the Fox Island Chapel!

The Beach House on Fox Island was absolutely perfect for our quiet retreat. Bill met us on arrival and gave us a brief tour of the house and surrounding property. The owner's home is adjacent to the house we stayed in and they offered us access to their beautiful garden and orchard. They even sent us home with amazing bouquets of flowers and a bag of apples from their trees. The King bed was super comfy and all the sheets and pillows were of excellent quality. The bathroom offered an abundance of toiletries and supplies. The WiFi connection was strong and we were able to stream movies as well as work on our laptops from the beautiful deck. The property is exactly as pictured and has a full view of the water. The house was very clean and fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Bill and Sue were exceptional hosts and we fully intend to return to their waterfront retreat.

My family and I recently stayed at bill and sues beach house and we very much enjoyed our stay. The location is breath taking. Beautiful views of the puget sound and access to the beach! We saw eagles flying overhead, porpoises swimming in the water and many seals bobbing around. It was very relaxing and serene. Bill and sue are great hosts and live right next door. We found this quite convenient. They were quick to respond to any need that we had arise. The cabin was exactly as we expected thanks to the pictures provided on this website. Walking on the beach at low tide was a highlight for my family. Unfortunately, we didn't stay long enough to roam all of the beautiful grounds and do more exploring. You are sure to enjoy your stay here and will be lucky to have such wonderful hosts.

Great! Great! Love the view! Needed a quite place to rejuvenate. Walked in the water found seashells, claybabies, agates. Place had everything you needed to cook & plenty of towels, etc.... Can't wait to go here again. Wish we could stay longer! Take eye sleep mask if you wake easily to morning sun & don't want to!

When we arrived at the Beach House, Bill was out front to greet us. He oriented us to the house, the grounds, Fox Island and Gig Harbor and made us feel welcomed. The house itself exceeded our expectations. It is so close to the water it almost has the feel of a houseboat. There's a 180 degree view of the harbor with an eastern exposure. The sun greeted us every morning as did the harbor seals. I can whole-heartedly recommend this home and the its hosts to anyone hoping to stay on Fox Island.

Sue and Bill love History and gardening. The Beach House is part of a 13-acre compound with over 350' of waterfront, which includes a century old home, one of the original houses on Fox Island. Stroll through the lovely cottage gardens, which were featured on both the Gig Harbor and Fox Island Garden Tours. The Beach House is 10 miles from Gig Harbor with all it has to offer ... an authentic, working fishing village with restaurants, art galleries, museums, movies, parks, shopping, etc. It is 13 miles from Tacoma, WA.
