Frederiksberg is like an island in greater Copenhagen - surrounded by the capital city, so you have easy acces to the city centre, Vesterbro and Nørrebro . It's a relaxed neighbourhood with parks, shopping streets, bars and cafees, villas and apartment buildings.
Metro station FORUM is a 10 min walk away, historic centre a good half hour walk. Bus 9A stops at Gl. Kongevej and will take you to city centre, central railway station. Frederiksberg Alle (Danish version of Champs Elysée) hosts several theatres and good restaurants and gives access to Frederiksberg Have - a nice green green garden where you can take a break from busy city life.
