The mystery of the pyramids of Montevecchia
They are located 40 km from Milan and only a few know about them, but they are connected to the pyramids of Giza. Here's why:

They were discovered in 2001 by the architect Vincenzo di Gregorio, thanks to satellite observation. They are located in Val Curone, about 15 kilometers from Lecco and 40 from Milan. These are the pyramids of Montevecchia, three hilly formations with characteristics similar to the pyramids of Egypt located in the Giza Plain.
Stepped pyramids with a maximum inclination of 44° and a height ranging from 40 to 50 meters. A mystery hovers around their formation. These hills, whose exact age has not yet been established, are said to have been shaped by humans and used as astronomical and sacred sites.
From the studies made by Gregorio, an interesting aspect emerges: the Italian pyramids, although not equal in size, are similar to those of Giza in arrangement and astronomical orientation. They are positioned in a straight line that recalls the order of the three central stars of the Orion constellation: Alnitak, Alnilam and Mintaka, replicated precisely in the pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Micerino.
According to the architect, although covered with vegetation, so much so that they appear as hills, there is no doubt that they are artificially made pyramids thanks to the removal of hundreds of tons of rock. The first pyramid is the one to the south, and on top of it there is a clearing with cypress trees, while the third is covered with oaks. The pyramid in the center, called Belvedere Cereda, according to the researcher was an astronomical site used by the Celts even before the arrival of the Romans (500 BC).

The hypothesis was confirmed by astronomer and astrophysicist Adriano Gaspani. Measurements have revealed that the pyramids were sanctuaries used to determine lunar cycles and eclipses. Essential information for the agricultural activities of ancient populations. If we consider that some archaeological studies date the Celtic presence in Northern Italy around the 7th century BC and the fact that the first forms of agriculture appeared about 11 thousand years ago, this means that these pyramids could have been built from 3 to 10 thousand years ago.
