My place is very cosy and colourful. The room faces East and overlooks the sea, and being on the 13th floor, there's a great view. The neighbourhood is very friendly and all amenities are just a short walk away.

Description

The space

Come and stay in this comfortable, clean room based in the heart of Kemptown, a stones throw away from Brighton Pier and the magnificent Pavillion.

There's plenty to see and do locally, whether it's a bit of sightseeing or a spot of lunch.

Your room has a balcony with stunning views out towards the marina (east) and it's very quiet at night.
I'm only a short walk away from the North laines which is full of independent shops. As well as being a paradise for the fashion conscious, with clothes shops offering everything from retro 50′s garments to specially tailored outfits, there are a whole range of bespoke jewellers, music shops, organic health foods outlets – and in amongst all this there is even a place that specialises in Kites and a vegetarian shoe shop!

St james street is a 5 minute walk away, which as well as being handy for any essentials you might need, is full of restaurants and eateries catering for all tastes in food. There's also some great pubs that serve food and a good Sunday roast.

If you're in to antiques and flea markets, just head to the bottom of my road and there's a selection to choose from selling everything form furniture to nik naks.....then maybe stop off at the Hand in Hand for a locally brewed beer or stroll along the seafront and admire the georgian architecture.

If you want to head outside of Brighton for the day, just head to the seafront, where you'll find plenty of buses. I have a bus timetable to help plan your journey if you should need it.
I look forward to welcoming you to Brighton!

Guest access

You can help yourself to tea and coffee. The bathroom is shared, just with myself.

The neighbourhood

Kemptown is a great place...anything goes here and people are very accepting of all walks of life. There's a great choice of bars, pubs and restaurants too, catering for all tastes in cuisine.

Getting around

Public transport here is very reliable, but most places you may want to visit are in walking distance.

Great location to explore Brighton from. Not difficult to find, if you catch the train I'd recommend taking a taxi as opposed to legging it as if you have luggage that can be pretty tiring. 5 minute walk to beach and another 5 minutes to Brighton Pier.

Bambi is an extremely friendly and inviting person. The place has a wonderful view and it's really close to the pier. Everything you need for a little home base.

Amazing location, a short walk to the beach and pier, very close to the centre and not too far from the station either. We slept comfortably and enjoyed Bambis company, the balcony was definitely our favourite part of the stay as it has a lovely atmosphere and good views.

Thanks Bambi! I've really enjoyed to stay at your place! Central, 5 mins walks from the sea and town centre. Lots of pubs and nightlife around. Lovely view from the 13th floor. I really suggest Bambi as host, the greatest Airbnb experience so far! Many many thanks again!

Bambi was a great host. You can't really pick on anything! She is a very easy going, friendly person. The property was just as described, decorated in a very original style. The room is cosy and warm, and the location is really good. So are the views from the balcony. It's 13th floor! And you can see the sea too! Bambi made us feel very welcome. She is a real chatterbox, we enjoyed our conversations a lot. Our stay didn't feel business-like at all, it felt more like visiting a friend. Can't recommend enough!
