The apartment was spacious and pleasant, perfect for 4 people, although it could house 1 more. The location is great, very close to the beach, supermarkets and currency exchange places. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The apartment was tidied up every few days, which was nice (not really cleaned, they didn't clean the floors or the bathrooms, but made the beds, gathered and cleaned some glasses left standing around etc.). The towels and bedsheets were changed every 3-4 days. There were some things missing from the kitchen at first, but after we contacted the staff, everything was provided very quickly.
In general I think that the apartment is good value for money.
The one big issue is wifi (it's the main reason while my evaluation is 4 not 5 stars). It basically doesn't work: you can maybe open a mobile version of (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) or (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN). Opening any website takes a few minutes. Doing any work is impossible. And all of that while sitting just next to the router at the reception, in the apartment it doesn't work at all. Never ever have I seen such bad wifi. The staff claimed that most hotels use the same (free) provider as well and don't pay for real wifi for their guests, I don't know if that's true, I seriously doubt it. Anyway, for us it was a problem, coming from Europe we had hoped we'd be able to use the wifi for talking to relatives, checking some information about the islands etc., we somehow managed without, but it was annoying.
Overall we were very happy with our stay and would probably come back if we decide to visit Mahe once more.
