As for the sheets I am, again and sincerely, very sorry, as it was indeed a mistake on my behalf who told my brother to replace the sheets with other ones that weren't the clean ones. It is something that hasn't happened before and we will now make sure that it won't happen again. I'm sorry that it even occured.
As for the smell of cigarettes, it is mentionned in the appartments characteristics that smoking is allowed in it, so even if we open the window widely and fan for as long as possible before the arrival of a guest, if it happens that a prior guest did smoke in it, there is only so much we can do against the smell in the hours following that last cigarette. That being said, the room has a wide window, it is on the 8th floor and it opens above most of the roofs of Paris, so it ventilates quite quickly.
About the left over food, there is indeed butter, marmelade, pasta, rice and things like that, all of them left over by prior guests that we leave for anyone to use. Nothing quickly perishable or rotting is left in the room.
Concerning the size, yes, it is a small apartment, a room with equipment, as it is mentioned in the announcment, its is a "studette", a "chambre de bonne", rooms small by definition.
