The location is very peaceful. The deck is a great place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee. Eagles were flying around every day. we watched a juvenile learning to catch fish. There is great bear viewing within walking distance in Herring Cove. The cabin and everything we needed. There is a grill and chairs on the deck. Gail is very responsive and will help in any way she can. The Hole In The Wall bar is right there, but not was not loud. They have good food and good people. If you are looking for a quieter place away from cruise ship crowds, this is a great option.

Wonderful cabin! Incredibly gorgeous and secluded cabin right on the water. Cabin was spotless and had fresh towels and all kitchen needs for cooking & barbecuing your catch! Close by to bar for good food & ice cream, marina & skiff fishing, and most taxi/charter activities know where to pick you up from. Bald eagles everywhere and caught dozens of fish from cabin deck. The best of both worlds: wifi updated clean amenities and also secluded private silent surrounded by nature. Great people who helped us, wonderful community in Ketchikan! We loved it and would highly recommend it thanks!!

The Inlet Cabin was fantastic for our week in Ketchikan. Upon arrival, we met Gail at the Hole in the Wall Bar, and she walked us over to the cabin to show us around. The cabin is exactly as pictured and described, and included several staples like TP, trash bags, dish soap, and paper towels. Also, some previous guests had left behind things like cooking oil, spices, and coffee filters, so you may want to check in before doing your grocery shopping. The cabin was very quiet and private, nestled among the trees and perched atop a cliff over the inlet. The area is outside of Ketchikan proper and made for a glorious respite after taking in the sights in town. We saw orcas and bald eagles right off the back deck! When we had a wifi glitch, Gail worked tirelessly to ensure that it was fixed to our satisfaction. Gail was awesome generally and did everything she could to ensure we had a great time. A couple of things to note: 1) the cabin was outside of cell service for us, so make sure you have wifi calling or the like and you'll be fine, and 2) our GPS took us immediately to the listed address, but it also corresponds to the Hole in the Wall Marina and Bar parking lot (which is where you will park your vehicle if you have one), which threw us off initially because we didn't see the cabin anywhere - if you plan to meet with Gail at the bar, it's no trouble at all. Make sure you check out nearby Rotary Beach at low tide. We would recommend this rental without hesitation.

My dad and I recently stayed at Gail's cabin for a week for a fishing trip. It was an amazing experience. We really enjoyed the cabin. We saw orcas from the back deck, was very close to herring cove where we went fishing, and the entire team that operates the rentals/bar was friendly and approachable. We will definitely be coming back

Absolutely perfect place to stay in Ketchikan if trying to get away from the cruise ship area and all that mess. Amazing view, plenty of space, 2 minute walk down their path to a great local bar on their dock (but the house is quiet). Gail and her brother are also awesome. Can't recommend highly enough
