This place is just wonderful and in a much underestimated part of Ireland. The house and grounds are teaming with charm and history and the newly renovated library is a great space to relax in.

Brilliant stay. Sadly we were only there for a couple of nights but it's such a peaceful place we felt absolutely no desire to leave the grounds during that time. Walks around the garden with their enthusiastic Labrador Rococo or whiling away the afternoon browsing the library, being introduced to the Guinea Pigs, picking wild garlic for supper, etc - perfect. Really genuine friendly hospitality from the whole family too. We'd love to come back

A great place in a beautiful peaceful part of the country. Paddy and Hannah were great hosts and the food at dinner superb.

Hannah was a very relaxed and pleasant host, and was always available. The forge was cosy and charming, the area around the house a pleasure to walk in. Would recommend for a restful stay.

We had such a great stay here! The grounds are really beautiful and peaceful and the forge is the perfect cozy cottage. It really has everything to make the stay comfortable. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They were accommodating and were happy to provide things if needed (i.e. Oil, milk, basics). We would recommend anyone to stay here and we definitely will if we come back to Ireland!

I'm a country girl, born and raised in the Irish countryside. I used to travel before having a family. However, I do still get to Canada every year having married a Canadian. In my dreams I have many hobbies but in real life have no time for anything except running my business and bringing up two little girls.
