Perlas house is in a great location, only a short walk to the zocalo but is on a quite street. We didn't cross paths with Perla or her daughter very often, as we were out exploring most of the day, but when we did they were always friendly ( :

From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed, and I always felt safe and comfortable here. The house is in a great location--very close to downtown! I also appreciated that the Internet worked in every room, which has not always been my experience in other places. Perla and her family--including her their two cats--are lovely. They were always helpful when I had a question. There's a spectacular view from the bathroom as well.

A room adequate close to the center. But if you want to cook your own food, I don't recomand.

Perla's house has a great central location: a 10 minute walk to the Zocalo, 10 minute walk to a good super market and close to a point where you can take collectivo taxi's to the surrounding villages such as Teotitlan and Tlacolula. The bedroom is very comfortable with a basic but clean bathroom just around the corner. The house itself is however old and thus do not expect a super tidy place. You can make use of the kitchen which is a great thing but keep in mind that it is used by Perla and her lovely daughters as well and that it thus can be messy. All in all, a super convenient place to stay :-)

Perla is a very nice host who takes good care of all your needs. When we arrived early in the morning, she welcomed us early at 7 am (as our room was luckily free). Thanks so much for that! Perla's appartment is situated very close to the historic center, but in a quiet street. As the rooms are situated in the backyard, you wouldn't hear any noises from the street. Our room was small, but with a comfy bed and silent fan, so that we felt comfortable at all times. You would share the bathroom with other guests (I guess it is one other room). The kitchen was a bit messy, just in case you intent to use it a lot. ;)

Perla and her daughters are great hosts! Friendly and welcoming, they are attentive to their guests' needs. The room, bed and bath were very comfortable and the location in the Centro was quiet. I would stay here again!
