It was an amazing stay with Lena and Mikael! They are amazing hosts! Very accommodating and helpful! The cottage is very beautiful and the amenities are superb! The pictures don't do it justice! We'll come back for sure!

My husband and I stayed in the cottage in the grounds of Lena's house for five days. It was a fantastic place to relax, and Lena was a great host - around if we needed her, but otherwise she did not disturb us. We spent lots of time enjoying the beautiful view, either from the beach or from the pagoda (the perfect place to sit if the weather was chilly/in the evenings) and we also very much enjoyed the sauna overlooking the water, with outside shower right next door. The kitchen in the cottage is small but well-equipped, with a fridge, small oven and two hotplates. We didn't mind sharing the sink, shower and toilet (in a separate outhouse) with the guests staying in the two cabins in Lena's garden, and appreciated how clean this area was kept. We didn't have a car, but found it easy to get a cab from Kalmar to Lena's place, and she had bikes we could borrow if we wanted. She generously left us some breakfast in the cottage, and also brought us some home-grown vegetables from her garden, which was a lovely surprise!

Lena was right there to welcome us and make us feel comfortable. There were fruits & cheese. Binoculars were waiting at the gazebo for us to use. Such a beautiful quiet place. So enjoyable to sit & watch the water birds. We only wish we could have stayed a few more days!

Lena and Micael are definitely one of the best hosts I've had so far! Especially Lena was super caring and atentive and we had many interesting conversations! If it was possible I would have given more than 5 stars for the location. The place is extremly beautiful with an amazing sea view. Perfect quite place to relax! I'd love to come back one day. Thank you!!

Lena was incredibly welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in her cute and cosy cottage right at the sea. The garden is gorgeous and we enjoyed a few beautiful sunsets. There is a sauna overlooking the sea that you can use, too! I loved the rustic and traditional charm of the cottage and would come back anytime!

Unfortunately we stayed only one night at this cottage. Though we had a really nice time here. When we arrived, Lena gave us a very warm welcome. She really took care we would feel at home. She is a super host! The stuga itself has everything (maybe more than) we needed. We were positively surprised about all the extra equipment Lena offered us. A sauna, a bbq, a cano, a washing machine, ... This stuga is definately worth its price! Thank you Lena for the very nice stay and your hostility!
