Enjoy Guadalajara in this lovingly restored 18th Century Casona. Located near San Juan de Dios in Colonia Analco and minutes from bustling downtown. Our home boasts a very large glass covered patio and an even bigger back yard. Walking distance from Line 3 of the Metro and a short Uber ride from trendy Colonia Americana and Tlaquepaque.

The space
Step back in time while visiting Casa Romero and enjoy one of the oldest neighborhoods in Guadalajara.

Casa Romero was built in the 1700s and is considered by Guadalajara as a historic significant structure . It features a large indoor glass covered patio with a Talavera tile water fountain. The patio serves as the dining room with a ten foot table that seats ten. Perfect for a dinner party under the moon and stars!

Our living room has been furnished with restored antiques and one of a kind handmade furniture. Enjoy some classic Mexican vinyls on the turntable while you relax on the chaise lounge.

Casa Romero also has its very own bar with a second retro mini fridge located next to the dining room. There you can keep the party going by mixing a cocktail and playing some lounge and exotica vinyls!

Next to the bar you will find our vintage kitchen complete with a working 1940s stove and retro mini fridge. You will find everything you need to prepare a meal, including a Toaster, Microwave, Blender, Hot Water Kettle, Coffee & Sugar along with a Coffee Pour Over. Side note: we have a lovely grocery market just a few meters away to purchase fresh produce.

Casa Romero has two full size bathrooms located just outside by the kitchen.
Clean towels, Soap and Shampoo are provided. If you visit during the rainy season you might get a little wet walking to the bathrooms.

We have four bedrooms each with an imported US Queen size mattress and a free standing wardrobe. Three of the bedrooms open directly into the patio and one opens into the living room.

There is a very large back yard that features loads of plants and florals. We also have a built in BBQ and plenty of seating.
