What a lovely retreat! It was the perfect spot to unwind after a day at Smith Park. All amenities are as described, and the suite is extremely clean and outfitted with everything you need. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The pups who live on the property were so friendly. Sallie was easy to get in touch with, and was very welcoming. Can't wait to come back!

A great place, plenty of room for 2 people and is in a great location. Minutes from Smith Rock State Park and a short drive to Redmond in Bend area. Sallie and Eric were excellent host and made sure we had plenty of supplies.

Can't say enough about this Airbnb! Sallie and Eric are warm and welcoming, along with the four dogs. Their home is lovely and the suite provided is private and spacious. So comfortable we didn't want to leave! Very close to Redmond and Bend, and of course Smith Rock is just a short drive away. The view from the back deck is stunning! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and heartily recommend their Suite.

We loved our accommodation at this airbnb location where we stayed for 5 nights highlighting the Great American Eclipse on Aug 21, 2017!! The location has privacy with separate entrance, beautiful outdoor patio with trees and bird feeders. The place was clean, comfortable, and quiet, close to magnificent Smith Rock. Sallie was very hospitable, accommodating, and took care of our needs. Experiencing the awesomeness of the total solar eclipse with Sallie and Eric is something I will remember forever. I will reserve the Sallie's place again given the chance to go back to Oregon high desert.

I am a marine biologist and middle school science teacher living in the desert. I love nature and spend as much time as possible seaking out beautiful places. My husband and I live in a small acreage where we raise hay and English springer spaniels. My favorite pastimes are hiking, backpacking, kayaking, scuba diving and sharing my wisdom with teenagers.
