We had a wonderful time staying at Keigo's place. He personally met us at check-in and kindly showed us around the apartment. The place is roomy, clean and very comfortable. After a stay in a small apartment in Tokyo, we felt we could really breathe. Bathroom was clean and spacious. It was great to be able to do laundry (leave yourself a few hours for clothes to dry). Beds were very comfortable. Location was great - we loved the bustling but calm neighborhood. Easy to walk to subway and shrines nearby and about 15 minute walk to downtown restaurant/shopping area. Loved our stay here and would recommend to our friends, or hopefully come back ourselves! Thanks Keigo!

It is a fabulous modern apartment with lovely view, easy access to public transportation, and short walk to many attractions. There are restaurants in all price ranges in the neighborhood. Modern amenities and comfortable beds made the stay very enjoyable. It is lovely all around.

A very comfortable apartment, slightly on the pricey side of other AirBnBs, and within walking distance of all scenic attractions in Kyoto. Excellent communication with the hosts . Would recommend.

Keigo's is a wonderful and gracious host from the time we were inquiring to the time we booked and the time we arrived. He was prompt with replying to inquiries and providing exact directions on how to access his apartment. His apartment is located in a very convenient location to transport and a short walking distance to the Gion district. Keigo's apartment is the epitome of luxury. It is modern, brand new and very spacious. If you're looking for a home away from home. I would highly recommend staying at Keigo's place. He even presented a lovely host gift of a sake bottle for our arrival. If we are to return to Kyoto I would definitely stay here again. There is also a lovely lady by the name of Chisato that owns a little yukata and vintage kimono shop just pass the metro exit walking the opposite way. We went there based on another travels recommendation. She sells yukatas for ¥1000 - she is absolutely lovely and takes her time with you. Another highly recommended place to check out.

I was born and grew up in Kyoto.
My family house has more than 250 years of history, that makes me the 14 th generation.
I usually work as a salary man and spend my free time playing tennis and baseball with my two boys.
As a Kyoto citizen, I would like to introduce to the visitor not only its tourist face, but also a way to cherish the experience of normal living.
Nowadays, although tradition and ancient culture are still considerably remaining in Kyoto, his people life style has extraordinarily modernize.
To welcome our guests and to make them feel also the Japanese traditional atmosphere , in the garden of this building (built in 2015), we used an ancient watter font and a lantern that were originally placed in our home.
