HOME HIGHLIGHTS
Great check-in experience100% of recent guests gave this home’s check-in process a 5-star rating.

The Writer's Cottage is the old gardener's cottage on the grounds of Roundwood House, a beautiful Georgian country estate. Cosy, secluded & tucked away in a corner of the old kitchen garden, it is the perfect escape from the maddening crowd. Please not however that the Writer's Cottage is tiny, as is the furniture, the bathroom, the kitchen in a cupboard. Our guests tend to love it but we don't want anyone arriving expecting to be able to swing a cat during their stay!

Hannah and Paddy are fantastic hosts, nothing is too much trouble. The main house and surroundings are beautiful, the Cottage charming and cosy. Our additional furry guest was a real delight each day! A good base to explore mid country with plenty to keep you occupied.

We came here on our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. The writer's cottage is an adorable, rustic little place, tucked away in a private spot a few minutes walk down a path from the main house. The cottage is the perfect size for two people, and it had everything that we needed …
