Interaction with guests
Most of the time, we will be living in the house next door (if we are not traveling). This space is separated from the house and we leave you in complete privacy. We are of course anytime there to answer questions and help you out.
Other things to note
For families with small children: We have a baby chair and a baby bed (0-3 years) available for use.
You don't have to bring basics such as toilet paper, sheets and towels; we all provide that in the rental price
Treat our house with care - and leave it clean after you leave.
Please respect our privacy and leave things at their place.
Enjoy a bonfire or indoor fireplace - but with care! Do not make the fire too big and do not make a fire when it is windy. Never go to sleep when the fireplace is still hot.
We have two chicken cages - if you like, you could feed and water the chicken, and collect their eggs. (if not, we live next door and could come over to do that - in accordance).
Only use organic toilet paper - we are not connected to the sewer but to a sceptic tank.
Cancel up to 5 days before your trip and get a full refund, including service fees.
We are a close family of 6; Victor (artist) and Els (teacher) have 4 children that do not live at home anymore - but are here regularly to help re-built and renovate our beautiful farmhouse dated from before 1850. We do everything ourselves - which gives the house a very personal and playful touch. We love traveling but also love being home and explore the beaches and nature directly around us. We are a warm family that welcomes everyone at our place - we put a lot of trust on people and expect people to respect that.
