Hot tub
This is one of a few places in the area that has this feature.
Gillyflower is a self catered cottage, close to Fowey, designed on two levels, sleeping 4 (one king size and a twin bedded room), with an enclosed deck catching the afternoon and evening sun and a private hot tub for two. Swimming pool, sauna, outside games, small animal farm. Dogs very welcome.

The space
South Torfrey is a working organic farm, set in a secluded position above the Fowey estuary, three miles from the beautiful historic harbour town of Fowey, that's only a five minute drive away. We offer plenty of available parking and fabulous facilities on site for our guests.

Gillyflower has a wood burning stove (fuel provided), stair gate and en-suite shower wet-rooms. The master bedroom has a king-sized, pocket sprung bed made up with 100% cotton linen - because we don't underestimate the value of a good night's sleep. The second bedroom is a twin with a second en suite shower room.

The cottage has a private, walled, gated sun deck, with a charcoal barbecue, garden furniture and a chiminea to make the most of warm summer evenings. It has a private hot tub for two, enclosed in a fenced grassed garden.

Please visit our website for more detailed information on this cottage and others, plus the surrounding area, or contact me direct and I'll be happy to talk about specific requirements.

Guest access
On arrival please book the indoor, heated 'endless pool', sauna and small gym for your private use; the badminton court, table tennis and games room. Choose from a large range of dvds and books that we have for our guests. We have chickens, rabbits, ducks and guinea pigs for our younger visitors, plus an outdoor playground.

Other things to note
We have five self catering cottages, (plus the Pighouse - Airbnb - sleeping 2/3 and a Shepherd's Hut - Airbnb - sleeping 2, both with basic cooking facilities), each offering a peaceful haven in which to relax and unwind. Thoughtfully converted, they are equipped to a high standard to provide a 'home from home'. Gillyflower's kitchen has a washer, drier, dishwasher, microwave and all the necessary appliances and utensils to help make your stay with us as easy as possible.

Originally from London, Simon and I worked at a Steiner community south of Edinburgh, farming alongside and caring for adults with special needs. We relocated to Cornwall in 1996, just 2 weeks prior to the birth of our third son, Charlie. We now have 5 children, all taller than us. Simon, a biochemist, traded a career in a hospital chemistry lab for a life as an organic farmer. He hasn't regretted it. And I, with a Masters degree in Natural Resource Management, attempt to find practical application for my knowledge whenever I can. Now he's learning the clarinet and I'm singing jazz. A pretty good team.
