Built in 2005, this home was on the cover of Dwell March 2007, and features sustainable, energy-efficient design in a cozy family home. 1200 square feet, one-story, child friendly, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathroom, wireless internet, TV with DVD player, Bose music system, 2 off street parking spaces and covered patio. Master bedroom has a king size Tempur-Pedic bed with bath and walk-in closet. Second bedroom a double bed, third bedroom is smaller with a twin bed. Also, there is a second twin mattress that can be set up. Kitchen has bamboo counter-tops, Belgian blue-stone island, full fridge, dishwasher, stove/oven, toaster oven and french press for coffee. Heat and AC, washer and dryer as well. Outside has a covered patio off the living room and a smaller patio off the master bedroom. We have an outdoor loft with hens and exotic pigeons, you will not need to care for them, they have a food and watering system. Please do not let them out. We also have an outdoor cat who adopted us, if you can please help with leaving food out for her, but keep her out. One mile from downtown, 2 blocks from the commuter rail, farmer's market, and walking distance to many Eastside bars and restaurants. Already in East Austin, so you're close to the East Side Bars and downtown. No smoking allowed, no pets allowed, and guests must be over 21 unless with parent. May be handi-cap accessible, there are no stairs anywhere, please contact me for specifics. This is our home, and we will clear out space in closets and personal items, as well as most kid toys to give you plenty of space. Please treat our home with care and respect.
Walk to East 6th district, bars restaurants and coffee shops. Or the taquerias on Cesar Chavez for a Tex-Mex breakfast.
Also walk to MASS Gallery, Ariel Arts, and Hops & Grain Brewery for Friday nights.

We greet you for check-in, give you a walk through, answer any questions you have about where to go and then leave and let you alone.
Other things to note
You can get fresh eggs from the hens in the coop, just don't let any of the birds out, and lock up the door.
5 blocks from an HEB, Texas' grocery store. On Sundays there is a farmer's market at the metro rail station 3 blocks away.
No smoking, no pets. Please don't cut on the counter-tops, use a cutting board. That's about it.
