The North Fork (NOFO) is a great place for all seasons. It is beautiful, filled with farm stands with organic fresh fruits and vegetables, great fresh fish and fabulous Peconic Bay scallops available at Braun's and Southold Fish Markets. The vineyards are always available and have lots of live music on weekends.

You will have your own private 1 room cottage. Double bed, lots of closet space and washer/dryer. Hosts are almost always available if you have questions, or problems. They are very familiar with the North Fork and are happy to make recommendations for eating out, visiting the vineyards, or visiting local farm stands, shopping, and local attractions. IMPORTANT - restaurants are crowded on weekends so make reservations before you come out. If you would like to rent bikes there is a place in Greenport that will deliver and pick them up. Also a bike rental on the way out in Mattituck.

Guests are encouraged to let host know if a pet is coming along.

The cottage is very near main house but totally separate from it. Guests will have cottage to themselves. Outside is a small patio with wicker furniture, umbrella, and Weber grill for guests. The neighborhood has other homes nearby but is very quiet.

Koddy's place was the perfect getaway for my husband, dogs and I. The location is great, a 10 minute walk to a beautiful beach and minutes to wineries, farm stands, and restaurants. Charlie gave great recommendations to us and was readily available. The cottage is very close to the main house but we always had our privacy and it was quiet and relaxing. Would recommend North Fork and koddy and Charlie's place to anyone!!

Great little studio apartment on the North Fork close to wineries and farms. There's a private beach nearby and Greenport is about 15 minutes away by car if you're looking for some action. Note that the bed is a little tight for two people (I think it's a full size) and you're quite close to the main house where the hosts live, although it still feels very private. The hosts were communicative, provided dining recommendations, and gave us plenty of space. A lovely place to relax for a weekend.

The space was perfect for a weekend getaway for the city, although could have been comfortable even longer. The cottage had quiet and privacy, with a gorgeous beach a short walk (7-10 min) away. The cottage is as pictured, with nice touches like freshly ground (and delicious) coffee from the host. The location is quiet but central to all the good spots in in north fork.

I have had several careers, wife, mother, kindergarten teacher, nurse practitioner, managed several school based clinics, and been a professor of nursing at SUNY Downstate.
Spent 13 childhood summers on the North Fork and have lived here for the last 9 years with husband, Charlie. His avocation is cooking and is a contractor here on the east end. Cleo, our coton de tulear, a small fluffy white dog, lives with us too.
