Open plan living makes for a social vacation in this wee cottage. The coffee nook with seating for two allows you to look out at the hills in the morning, and the back yard is perfect for a BBQ or fire-pit filled evening. Max two people after March 15th.

The space

As well as a lovely inside space, the outside is extremely enjoyable. A small back deck faces to the surrounding hills, and the BBQ and fire-pit add to the enjoyment of outdoor living.

Guest access

This is a vacation property so you have access to the full house and are required to leave the property in the condition that it was on entry, i.e. clean, tidy, dishes done, swept, linens on bed and towels in the bath.
The washer and dryer are available for use, and we provide laundry detergent.

Interaction with guests

We live in the area - just a few minutes away and will meet you after you have arrived at the property. We enjoy the great outdoors here in the Crowsnest Pass and can help guide you towards some great hikes, skiing, biking and eating.

Had a wonderful stay here. Rachael was a great host meeting us and making sure we were settled in well. The photo's don't do the house justice as it is all brand new which is hard to see in the pics. Loved the little front area where you can sit with your tea and look out the window in the afternoon sun with the mountain tops peeking out at you. There was a little bit of road noise and you could occasionally hear a train passing but nothing that was bothersome if you are visiting from a city. Great location close to everything. Highly recommended.

Great little house. Very clean and comfortable. Exactly as described. Awesome communication even though we missed meeting. Train come through twice during the night which is quite loud.

Response from Rachel:
Thank-you for staying with us - snow is mid-August is not unexpected but certainly hampers a motorcycle ride! We appreciate the good communication on your part as well. Please come again - we'd love to have you back.

We appreciated your staying at our wee vacation property in Blairmore and are glad that you enjoyed the area. We were also disappointed to miss seeing you and like to meet all our guests - although timing doesn't always work. All the best, kind regards, Rachel.

My partner, Ian, and I have moved full-time to the Crowsnest Pass and enjoy the mountains, the skiing, the hiking and the fire-pits with friends and family. Ian is a teacher and I am a geophysicist, and we love to travel. Ian is from Ottawa and I am from NZ, and since 2004 we've lived in Calgary (AB), London and Edinburgh (UK) and now Bellevue, Crowsnest Pass, AB. We are local hosts and love to invite people to this part of the world. Come and stay in one of our three vacation properties - we'll point you in the right direction for relaxation and fun. We love to meet our guests and work with you to find a good time for us both - so we can give you the local information that makes the Crowsnest special.
